Chiefs finish 5-11.Will Romeo be back? Who realisitcally comes here?

Will Romeo be back if the Chiefs go 5-11 or worse? If he's gone, who would be a realistic replacement?

Molitoth 11-12-2012 08:40 PM

No, he's lost the team.

displacedinMN 11-12-2012 08:43 PM

no

Bugeater 11-12-2012 08:45 PM

Pioli can't fire him without firing himself.

petegz28 11-12-2012 09:05 PM

If this team wins 5 games Pioli and RAC will both most likely return.

I don't see it. I think the decision has already been made. I would bet they are both gone immediately after the season.

Kidd Lex 11-12-2012 09:14 PM

Boss Hog where are the boobs you promised?

Boss Hog 11-12-2012 09:14 PM

One can dream. This franchise hasn't ever shown that it does anything new and fresh though. We survive off retreads.

first year watching football?
RACX has lost the team
tonight is an amazing aberration
evidently the players have a hate for pit or haley
cause this is not the play I have seen Crennel inspire before

KCwolf 11-12-2012 09:43 PM

I honestly believe RAC is reeruned.... Period

I can't imagine that Chip would wanna come here.

He's going to get several offers. What do the Chiefs have to give Chip?

He can pick is QB in the draft [in theory].

J Diddy 11-12-2012 09:57 PM

This team is so undisciplined it's sickening. Frustrating. I don't think RAC is back period.

Boss Hog 11-12-2012 10:03 PM

Chip Kelly would most likely have the first pick of the draft. He could choose the quarterback he wants and start fresh.

Boss Hog 11-13-2012 12:02 AM

I could see Chip Kelly coming to KC if they get the first pick of the draft. Who else is most likely to fire their head coach?

San ****ing Diego, unfortunately.

Boss Hog 11-13-2012 12:06 AM

Philly, San Diego, and maybe Buffalo, Tennessee, Carolina. Chiefs defense is much better than Philly and San Diego.

Dallas, perhaps.

I know Gruden was ripping on the team tonight but they deserved it. What do you think about him as HC? He loves quarterbacks and could choose his own with the first pick. He's fiery asshole to get on these guys and make them play disciplined.

At this point Clark had better consider anyone who's willing to take the job.

Gruden might be a godsend for the Chiefs. He wouldn't be risking much in the way of reputation. He'd probably be forgiven if they don't improve much, and it's possible that these guys just suck together and that the next coach won't be able to do a lot with them either.

Here's a caveat, though: I question Gruden's commitment. For a young guy, he's been willing to be out of the game for a while now. I don't know if a driven coach can stay away like that.

Chris Meck 11-13-2012 02:55 AM

Jay Gruden, not Jon. That's the one you want.

007 11-13-2012 03:13 AM

As long as Pioli is here he will not fire Romeo until the end of next year.

007 11-13-2012 03:15 AM

Just remember....
No coach has won a super bowl with two different teams.

jspchief 11-13-2012 04:33 AM

Gruden can't handle a young QB.

Pasta Little Brioni 11-13-2012 07:03 AM

He needs to retire

BlackHelicopters 11-13-2012 07:24 AM

5 wins? Never happen. RAC back? Never happen. Pioli back? Probably. Sad.

Woodchuck 11-13-2012 07:25 AM

If Pioli is here next year, I think Romeo will be too. So yes, I think he will still be HC in 2013. Daboll will be the one to get cut imo.
