Clark should fire Pioli earlier than later.
He needs to replace him so Bowe and/or Albert can be re-signed by an interim prior to season's end. Even if we can't find a replacement before the end of the season, retaining talent must be a priority.
|
I have a feeling he'll be back next year. A 1st round QB and Romeo's "retirement" will buy him even more time.
|
Dudes on local KC radio going nuts on Pisoli today demanding he be fired. Dumbass Maas said this morning that we should take up a collection for Clark to pay off Pioli's buyout. Maas is as insane as the Cheaps
|
Dreaded sense that Pioli will be back.
|
We all want him fired. Therefore he wont be. Sucks to be us.
|
What player in their right mind would re-sign with us at all, let alone with an interim GM in place?

Honestly, that's all it would have taken to retain Carr. |
Bowe couldn't sign an extension if he wanted to. He has to wait till the year is over.
They absolutely need to get something in place with Albert, though. |
Dustin Colquitt needs to get paid too.
Amazing the foresight Herm Edwards had in drafting that guy. |

The quicker the better. There are at least 3 other teams contemplating firing their GM. 1st in line wins.

If the stadium is black, and the media blows it up I think we have a small chance. I have a bad feeling though.

Team MVP...yet again. |
I think what happens with the Romeo situation will dictate what Clark will do with Pioli.

But i would imagine/hope that if Hunt plans on making a change at GM he would do it early. With 3 or 4 games left in the season when the firing probably happens? We need to give the new GM time set to get ready for the draft and have first dibs on coaches. we hurt ourselves last time by waiting so long. |

I'm pretty sure if Clark wanted Romeo fired, Pioli would do it without thinking. |
Until Pioli is gone, no coach worth a damn is going to consider KC. As for Bowe, I find it interesting that all of a sudden he opens up to the media and lets it be known he wants to stay in KC. Maybe he's not worth as much as he thought he was.

Actually he was drafted in 2005 under Dick Vermiel.
