PFF Broncos/Chiefs
Donald Stephenson had a 2.2 with a 1.6 in PB and RB. Two penalties brought his grade down but other than that...GREAT JOB. Did not allow a QB pressure.
Tyson Jackson had a god awful game. He's back to being the 31st rated DE in the NFL. He doesn't even have a positive grade in run defense anymore. LMAO. Why did this team feel the need to give him 33 pass rush snaps yesterday? Jalil Brown was complete toast, giving up 5 completions for 112 yards to Decker and Thomas. Sounds like the coaching staff is tired of Baldwin's suck. He was only on the field for 15 passing plays. Justin Houston rushed 36 times but only had 1 hurry and 2 sacks. Allen Bailey didn't play a single snap. |
yeah houston sucks. Only 2 sacks? what a joke.

Bob Fescoe @bobfescoe
Rac: Baldwin open on one play and if Brady went to him it would have been a td #chiefs |

If only 2 sacks means a bad game then Pioli was right, our expectations are way too high.
|
Von and Woodyard each had their worst games of the season.
|
I liked the Stephenson pick. Thought he had a lot of tools coming out of OU. A little raw, but huge and athletic with a nice kick step.
He played quite well against two superb pass rushers in a pass rushing system. It was really the only thing that I took out of the game as a positive other than we lost which moved us one step closer to Geno. |

Dontari Poe had another solid game. He makes some mistakes but for the most part he's doing good. |
Houston is such a broad. If he's going to earn his paycheck, he's going to have to do a lot better than the meager 32 sacks-per-season pace he was on yesterday.
|
That's no good. the way you put it, I almost wanna give baldwin a 100M extension.

stephenson was a surprise...that should have been a slaughter
|
Well shit maybe we should try Albert at guard afterall
|
Baldwin was on the field for 15 snaps?
|
so we'll let bowe and albert walk...which is a mistake

Wait, Houston had a bad game with 1 hurry, 2 sacks, and 4 tackles?

Bowe played all 30. Moeaki played 28. Baldwin was subbed out for assholes like Newsome and Copper. |
Just watching, it seemed that DJ had a very good game, but I was more of a passive observer.

Baldwin is a huge bust and it's becoming clearer with every game he flits around Arrowhead like a ghost. |

I'd say DJ had a below average game. |

I'd rather see Copper catch slants all ****ing day rather than see Baldwin attempt to one-hand grab a catchable ball only to bobble it for a incompletion. |

It's funny that Tyson Jackson still gets most of the abuse, but in the big picture he at least gets onto the field. Jon Baldwin is a football wraith. You never see him, you only see his shadow when he crosses in front of a light. |

That actually kind of works. |
Will you guys let Baldwin play with Geno Smith (I hope we draft him) before you judge him??

In fairness, I know that receivers are typically slow starters in the league, so I'm not giving up on Jonny. I just think that perhaps in Year 2 it's time for him to start, you know, making catches. |

where are the idiots on here that said yesterday "Jalil Brown is not the problem, he played well"
yea suck it you ****ing idiots |
Quote:
He is an absolute burn victim so far. |
i cannot believe we went from Brandon Carr to Jalil Brown and have nothing to show for it.
downgrade in talent with no return thanks to the Pioli Way. And thats how you build the worst team in league in Year 4 of your Ego GM's crap plan |
We went from Carr to Routt to Brown.
So basically from gold, to bronze, to shit. |

How did the rest of the d-line do besides Jackson? Also, how was Jackson somewhat decent last year against the run and so awful this year? Was it a fluke year or were the parts around him somewhat better which made him more effective

C'mon Clay Baldwin doesn't have a QB to throw him the ball. And when our QB throws the ball, guess where it's going to? Bowe. Every. Single. Goddamn. Time.
And when for some reason it doesn't, it's to McCluster**** because our OC has the biggest woody for him. Baldwin has made plays. His potential is there. Put a QB like Geno on this team and he's a contributor. Oh and I saw Houston make a few really good plays against the run on Sunday. He owned Orlando Franklin. They tried the sweep and Houston blew that shit up. |
Quote:
this entire theory to blame the QB is a farce. the dude ****ing sucks. hes a bust and hes not a team player. Hes a workout warrior with a poor attitude |
Quote:
I think the Broncos were of the opinion that they needed to do little more than get off the plane to win this game. It seems they were right. |
So Stephenson makes Albert expendable?
Signed, Pioli |

****, Albert probably started looking at properties in Chicago, where he'll get a fat contract he deserves protecting a top 15 QB on a top 10 team. |
