Snow Freak out
Anybody watching channel 9 right now? They had a reporter in some podunk NW Missouri town reporting on the fact that there's no snow. She like "we've seen a little rain, but the snow isn't here yet. We might get an inch or two over the night." LMAO
I can't believe all of this coverage for a possible inch or two. |
Quality, quality post.
|
Take this shit to Facebook.
|
Yesterday I received a snowblower for Xmas . Expect record low snowfall totals and no snow tonight
|
100 thousand post requirement for starting threads
|
I know he's a n00b, but this isn't really that bad of a thread comparatively. People post BS about the weather all the time.
|
This is better than the post about Nick Wright breaking the story on Pioli and Crennel.
|
Can't argue with that. I log on and see that Nick Wright thread, open it up and it's another thread about Barry and his crazy ramblings. If I was a mod anyone who posted about that guy would get mandatory electroshock therapy.

7 to 8 inches of wet snowblower plugging shit will have fallen in Omaha by 5 am. God I hate wet heavy snow.

Sunny and 72 in Olathe per usually. Even at night.

Sunny all week in El Paso, with highs between 56-60 for the whole week.

Imagine devoutly following a team that is 2-12 and having to listen to moronic raiders and cowboys fans bullshit about their teams all day. It is sort of like being the strip of skin that resides between the anus and the vagina.

Driving home tonight from work was a pain in the ass. People were driving 20 mph below the speed limit, slowing everyone down. Then you have the idiots going 20 mph over the speed limit and fish-tailing. One damn near clipped my Jeep. Dumbasses. I lost count on all the idiots that didn't have their damn headlights turned on. I mean really? Damn Omahanianianas can't drive to save their asses... especially when the 1st snow hits. |

I love how the Weather Channel decided to start naming the storms to make them seem more ominous. Draco LMAO Hermione just punched it in the nose.

HOLY SHIT
It RAINED And we might get snow POSSIBLY AN INCH SEVERE STORM INSERT SORTER GIF |
Actually, when you are in this severe of a drought, any percipitation is news worthy. Not freak out worthy but worthy of mention.

We got about two inches & they called school off. I'd be walking up hill both ways too & from school during blizzard white outs. This is weak sauce for them to let out school. |

Damn. It still snowed. I expected it to miss due to being prepared

I have no idea what my commute looks like, but at least I got my Tate Stevens update, thanks Fox 4.

It's December. Learn to relax.

14" here north of Spokane Washington and still coming down. Typing in between phone calls from employees calling to tell me they can not get here.
|
Olathe has experienced high winds with some hard snow in minimal amounts. But do not fret, sunny and 70 by mid-day!
|
I don't think it's too bad here in Topeka
However, they canceled school because of it. Going to be a long 11 hour workday. |
2-3" of snow and it took me a freaking hour and a half to get to work. Normally a 25 minute drive. :cuss:

The stupid bastards here raid the grocery store even if its just a dusting of snow.

It's a joke anymore. They postponed school here, yet it's sunny and the roads are clear. I guess I would rather they be safe than sorry. |

Not complaining, though. We need to be safe with the kids. |
Maybe the superintendent was just being super nice by letting the kids have an additional day for Christmas break.
I'm surprised the Topeka area isn't on Christmas break yet too. |
I live north of wichita, and they didn't even bother treating the roads. 135 was iced over when I tried going to work. Decided I didn't want to take 2 hours to go to work so I turned around and went home.
We got an inch of snow. I wonder what will happen if it actually snows... |

We got 20 inches of snow over the weekend and nothing stopped. Y'all back home get 5 inches and it's the apocalypse lol.

Attempted to get to work this morning with no avail. Stuck twice until a neighbor with a 4x4 was able to get me off the road in a parking lot and gave me a ride home.
My job is delivering, with nearly a 1/2 inch thick sheet of ice all over and nothing done yet by the state, I'm going nowhere today. |
Aside from fish-tailing a few times, I got to work just fine, (was a little late though). Oh, how I love my 4x4 Jeep! :D
I drove by this one chick that got stuck in a snowbank. She kept spinning her tires when she could have easily just backed up and got out. Women drivers. |

Took me almost two hours going from Independence to Overland Park. I have a jeep, too, and it's made for days like this. Problem was, too many other people stuck, and traffic was backed up all over the place. Lots of stuck semi's on hill grades. Once they get stopped, they can't get momentum to start up again. Exit from 435 to Raytown MO 350 was shut down, traffic crawled from I-70 to Gregory, that stretch took about 45 minutes. Kansas portion of 435 was in much better shape. It'll take a long time to get home tonight I'm sure. Everybody take it slow and easy.

Just enough snow to call off school everywhere around here, but far from enough to burn the big brush pile I've accumulated from clearing pasture the past couple years.
I don't get calling off school for this. I remember our school bus getting stuck many times, in stuff alot worse than the 2 or 3 inches we got. |
Going on 10 hours with no power. Thank God for smartphones.
