Things you will do if we DON'T draft Geno Smith
I thought this would be another great way to prove just how far we will go to get Geno Smith :harumph:
|
be irritated if KC drafts Tyler Wilson
|
crack and beer, kick back in the recliner and utter sarcastically "welp....there's a ****ing surprise".

I prefer Smith, but Wilson is my 2nd choice as of right now. |
Start a whole bunch of threads about how we're going to shuffle the offensive line now that we have three left tackles.
|
Not sure who Geno Smifffff is, they better draft Geno Smith though.

Beer would be OK in fact it maybe mandatory

No qb at #1 and I am through with this team after 44 years. |
Some people would dance cause they have Wilson or another QB ahead of him.
|
|
I wouldn't be able to stomach watching Geno play for another team for the next 15 years. I would be so damn bitter

It depends on what else has been done.
I like Geno Smith but if Chip Kelly or Bill Cowher likes another QB better, then I will give them a chance to prove me wrong. If we fuck up the GM/HC/OC hire AND don't draft Geno I will not watch a single down of Chiefs football until this team is moving forward again. |
my NFL interest has dwindled significantly since 2008. watching more and more NCAA.
I've literally probably watched an hour of games other than the Chiefs this year. if the Chiefs **** this up, or go the 'safe' route etc, there's no reason for me to watch NFL at all. |
I'd punt a kitten.
|
If we draft a position other than QB at #1 overall I'm leaving the Chiefs. ****ing them in the ass and leaving. And I'm raping Clark's sister going out the door

I think the threat of picking another team is a weak one, and I've never thought seriously about it before this season. However, if they do have the 1st pick and don't take a QB, I don't know if I can handle it. A new team may be the only thing to do.
I MIGHT be okay with them trading back 1 spot if our new GM/HC thinks that Wilson and Smith are equal and can get next year's 1st pick from Jax for doing so. Any scenario that results in us trading way back and/or taking someone other than those two guys is unacceptable. |
my interest will continute to wane, until I finally just begin the shift of allegiance to another team. There's only so much you can take, and 32 years of futility are enough. I used to live and breathe it, the last couple of years, I watch and chuckle, rooting for them to lose for draft position, for ****ssake.
It's not normal. I want to care again. |
i'd Become a Redskins fan.
|
I'd still watch the Chiefs from a distance...like I have this season..... but they would NEVER be in my heart again.....(yeah, I know...kinda girly..)
|
my passion for this team will be gone. I'd probably follow the redskins because I like RG3.
|
Hope Nibiru is close by.
|
The cool thing about being the number one pick is that we should have a good idea of who we are picking before the draft so hopefully i have time to cope before.
|
here's the thing;
My old man used to say, regarding your interpretation of value/what something is worth when you're selling it: "It's only worth as much as people are willing to pay" If the talking heads think he's not worth the 1 overall but think he's ok at 10.....who gives a shit. If you identify him, and you want him.....****ing take him. if you think it's worth it, you take him and be done with it |
I’d bitch about it, and not buy any more Chiefs gear. In other words pretty much the same as this year.

I'm going to drop kick my 10 month old Siberian husky puppy

If the new FO feels that Geno won't fit what they're trying to do and pick someone else with the first pick I would'nt jump off a cliff. If they decide to wait until the 2nd or 3rd round to pick one, there will be a lot of punched babies in FL

I'd apply any moeny normally spent on the chiefs, and apply it to a yearly trip to Tuscaloosa to watch 'Bama play.

I'd hope and pray for the Chargers to draft him, then get pissed when they inevitably pick some bust wide receiver or running back instead.
|
|
lol..yeah, that typo bit me in the ass earlier
|
I would probably break something and then watch long enough to see the Raiders draft him so I could have closure on this reeruned team and move on.

I am going to pull up a seat and watch the frustration, wailing and gnashing of teeth that will go on at this site. I hope you all don't do anything stupid.

As long as we get either Smith, Wilson or Bray I'm good. I'm just glad we're about to draft our own.

Things I will do if we don't draft Geno?
Be very happy, because that will very likely mean that the Chiefs drafted my main man Tyler Wilson. |

We'd lose this game even if we had Steve DeBerg, Johnnie Morton, Dave Szott, and all the other great Chiefs who never won shit |
I could care less which QB they take. I just want one for the first time of my life watching the Chiefs. Sure, Geno is my #1 QB and it's not close but if the incoming front office feels some other QB is the best then by all means draft him.
Now if they take Teo or some other position then I'll still boycot going to Chiefs games because it's still run by clueless ****s with just different names. |

I wonder if these slapdick analysts realize that next year the only QB who really looks like he will be worth a shit is the Bridgewater kid from Louisville?
And even he has his questions since he's only been good one year. |
I will not reveal my finished tat if we don't draft Geno.
|
I will be done with them. Not going to pay money to watch an entire franchise pretend they are trying to compete. If they haven't figured out that the rules of the modern NFL make having a hotshot QB essential for succes then they are the biggest losers on the planet and I will find something less frustrating to spend my money on.
|
Wouldn't care if we ended up selecting Wilson...
|
set fire to a police car
|
I've been a Chiefs fan for a long time. If the Chiefs don't draft Geno Smith I'll probably go to bed and have a good nights sleep and then watch the rest of the draft the next day. No draft (that the Chiefs have ever made) has been pure gold, no reason to expect anything different now.

If the new GM comes in and is fervent about getting Tyler Wilson as our future QB, I hope he drafts him at #1 overall. I will support that decision. What I DON'T want is a GM who comes in and says, "I'm smarter than everybody and can work around this so-called terrible draft like a pro. We'll get Tyler Wilson instead of Geno Smith and at a premium price, too." That's some Scott Pioli bull ****ing shit. It stinks worse than a thousand yak farts, and I don't want any part of it. I'm through with that garbage. Get it out of me. |
I'm done if they don't draft a QB 1.1. Houston Texans here I come.
|
My choices..
If we get the first overall.. Smith, happy.. Wilson, pissed, but will see how it turns out.. Any other choice, become a RG3 fan.. Wont really care about football until Clark dies or sells the team.. Am a huge Peyton fan, but I can never root for the donks.. |
