I thought this would be another great way to prove just how far we will go to get Geno Smith :harumph:

If we fuck up the GM/HC/OC hire AND don't draft Geno I will not watch a single down of Chiefs football until this team is moving forward again.

my NFL interest has dwindled significantly since 2008. watching more and more NCAA.

I think the threat of picking another team is a weak one, and I've never thought seriously about it before this season. However, if they do have the 1st pick and don't take a QB, I don't know if I can handle it. A new team may be the only thing to do.

I MIGHT be okay with them trading back 1 spot if our new GM/HC thinks that Wilson and Smith are equal and can get next year's 1st pick from Jax for doing so.

Any scenario that results in us trading way back and/or taking someone other than those two guys is unacceptable.

my interest will continute to wane, until I finally just begin the shift of allegiance to another team. There's only so much you can take, and 32 years of futility are enough. I used to live and breathe it, the last couple of years, I watch and chuckle, rooting for them to lose for draft position, for ****ssake.

If the new FO feels that Geno won't fit what they're trying to do and pick someone else with the first pick I would'nt jump off a cliff. If they decide to wait until the 2nd or 3rd round to pick one, there will be a lot of punched babies in FL

I could care less which QB they take. I just want one for the first time of my life watching the Chiefs. Sure, Geno is my #1 QB and it's not close but if the incoming front office feels some other QB is the best then by all means draft him.

I've been a Chiefs fan for a long time. If the Chiefs don't draft Geno Smith I'll probably go to bed and have a good nights sleep and then watch the rest of the draft the next day. No draft (that the Chiefs have ever made) has been pure gold, no reason to expect anything different now.

For me it's all about intent.

If the new GM comes in and is fervent about getting Tyler Wilson as our future QB, I hope he drafts him at #1 overall. I will support that decision.

What I DON'T want is a GM who comes in and says, "I'm smarter than everybody and can work around this so-called terrible draft like a pro. We'll get Tyler Wilson instead of Geno Smith and at a premium price, too."
