Do you care whether the Broncos go the superbowl or not?
Next week if the Jags win, the Chiefs will be locked in for the first overall pick. If the Chiefs win against the Broncos, the Broncos won't have homefield advantage and will have to go through either New England or Houston to get to the Superbowl.
The price of winning is that in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th rounds, we'll have to switch picks with the Jags. (ex: In the 2nd, we'll pick 34th instead of 33rd). Would you rather win and force the Broncos to play in New England or Houston, or lose and have the first pick in every round? ------ For me, even if this is a lost year for the Chiefs, I can't stand the thought of the Broncos/Manning going to or winning the Superbowl. Switching off with the Jags in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th round is a small price to pay to force them to either play in NE or HOU. Just because this is a lost year doesn't mean we shouldn't care whether the Broncos go to the superbowl or not. |
Cool story, bro /machoman
ROFL Chiefs beating Broncos. Gimme a break |
I don't see the Colts beating the Texans. Colts have nothing to play for locked into the 5th seed.
|
Nevermind had to reload.
|
I don't give a shit what the broncos do. I just want #1.

I kinda want to see Colts vs Redskins
I do not want to see Patriots or the ****ing Broncos, that's for sure. With that being said, I hope the broncos kick the living shit out of us next week. Like epic style, 70-0. that should get those mother****ers fired. |
Do not want. My best friend is a donk fan. The next year would be un****ingbearable
|
**** the donkeys I hate em. I want them to get burnt first round by 40 + points
|
I want to see Manning in the SB and get crushed ala 2002 Raiders.

Jacksonville is playing Tennesee at noon next week. We're assuming that Jacksonville has already won and we're going into the Denver game knowing that we already have the 1st pick. |

Colts will be resting their starters next week so Houston will get homefield advantage. But NE could win so the Chiefs could make them lose the bye week. The only way we win that game is if Manning switches locker rooms before the game.
But **** Denver. No way do I want those bastards in the Super Bowl. |

At this point, they could win the whole ****ing thing and I wouldn't care because this franchise needs the importance of the QB position rubbed in their ****ing faces.

Good poll though. Chief_FanFor_Life58 agrees with you. It's like a tard convention. |

Hell, it might be more fun to lose, hear about how they're going to win, and then watch them lose after the bye at home. |

Manning. 9 seasons with 12 or more wins. Best in NFL history.
He's the best regular season QB of all time, no question. |
Hate to admit it, but I'm a big fan of Von Miller...even so I hope they are 1 and done

Next week when I head to Pile High for the game, I'm going to start high-fiving Bronco fans in the stands when the Donks score.

Until the chiefs start becoming relevant, all team rivalries are moot.
|
22-3. That's pretty conclusive...
|
It just looks pathetic to sit there clammoring onto some hope that other teams hated or not lose while your team ranks up there with some of the worst teams in NFL history.
|
We'll have the #1 which is what we all want. May aswell beat the Donks too
|
The second round pick is the first pick of day two and could be meaningful, especially if a team were looking to trade up.....The extra time to make a move could come in handy.
|
**** the lot of you...
|
C'mon, guys. Where's that ol' AFC West spirit? Don't you want the Broncos to bring back a little of the glory to our division? You know that part of their Lombardi would be yours in spirit.

We have been the WORST team in the NFL since Clark took over. |

My biggest hope. The Donks stomp us by 50+, signifying a glorious **** you ending to Pioli's masterful job of acquiring talent.
Then the Donks lose their first playoff game. |
We'll get the number one and they'll fail. Plain and simple.
|
If we're getting the very first pick in the draft, I'd love to knock Denver out of that homefield spot. Would love too.

How bout the Chiefs ending Manning's career next week and still losing. That's what I want to see.

I've always rooted for my division leader in the end, hopefully it's the best division so ya, I'll be rooting for the Mannings come post season.

If we lose next week and Jacksonville wins, we get the first pick in every round. That's a big advantage when there are three breaks in the draft now. It would let the new GM rearrange his board and identify the person he will draft the next day at the start of the 2nd and 4th rounds and start to focus on other things. It also would give us an advantage in trading up or down as far as draft value goes...being able to take calls during the breaks with trade offers and whatnot. In any other year, I would probably want to knock Denver down a notch, but this year that would cost us. |
Can we please stop wishing injury on opposing players?
Bad juju. |

I would like to see them Win it all..
Just to shove it to KC and the Clarks for passing on manning... |
Almost every Broncos win was against bad teams while their losses were against good teams.
Still think that Brady and Belichik will beat them in round 2, even in Denver. |

But by all means, lets piss away another possible competitive advantage because watching the Broncos win, with Manning no less, is just too painful. |
**** the Broncos.
Also, we need that #1 pick, so we are gonna do as we please and lose. **** em two times. |

After coming back, I realized that there really was no reason to feel that way. There's idiots on this board and I am gonna argue with them from time to time. The problem isn't me being mean, the problem is you being dumb. |

Where's the "who cares?" option?
If we win, we shit on Denver in Denver, and that's okay with me. I also hope somebody breaks Manning in half. If we lose, we get the No. 1 pick free and clear. |

You move back 1 spot in rounds 2, 4, & 6. BFD. If I rooted for them to lose it would be Pioli related. That's it.

To answer the question, as long as we get the very 1st pick in the 1st round, I'd absolutely love to **** up the Broncos seeding.
As ****ed up as it sounds, my perfect scenario would be us losing to the Broncos to ensure a bad taste heading into the offseason (more likely that we'll clean house) and Peyton Manning's season being ended on a Hali/Houston man-wich.. Do not want the Broncos winning shit, let alone the Superbowl. |
Quote:
Strategically there's an immense difference between picks 2-1 and 2-2. |
Beating Denver does nothing to determine whether or not they make the Super Bowl. Nothing.
**** winning, this is the only time in my life I will ever root for Peyton Manning and the Broncos. Send Pioli out on his fat ass with a 50 point loss. |
This is a no brainer answer. At this point it does no good for the Chiefs to beat the Broncos. It may give Chief fans more ammo to trash talk Broncos fans, but that is it.
It hurts them in the draft and the Broncos are going to fair pretty well in the playoffs anyways. |
