I am 100% confident that Romeo Crennel will be fired. I have NO confidence that Scott Pioli will meet that same destiny.

The fact the Chiefs have yet to send out renewal notices and Pioli has been silenced tells me he's toast.

and I wish the OP would have included a poll with this. I would like to see Pioli gone as much as the next guy, but I have zero faith it'll happen during this coming off season.

I think he's waiting for the season to end with the Chiefs in position for first pick in the draft -- to me, that would be a smart strategy.

The firings are inevitable. My hopes aren't just "up". I expect it. Not doing it would be to pretty much nuke the remaining fan base for the foreseeable future.

Monday as a RAC retirement day sounds more likely though, with Pioli gone soon thereafter. We do have to get him out and start planning for the draft and working with scouts, etc.. The sooner the better.

Actualy, if you were Pioli would you want to hang around here? He had a career ending year that was topped off with having to watch Belcher end it all in the parking lot. I would think that is too much for most people to handle.
