Chatter increases that Pioli could be back in Kansas City
LMAO
Amazing how clueless the media is. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...n-kansas-city/ Quote:

@JasonColeYahoo: Heard from a league source that Scott Pioli will survive in KC, but only with significant changes (new coach,QB). |
|
The fact that he thinks the "outcry has diminished" tells you all you need to know about that dumbass
|
This thread's purpose is to troll us. I get it.
|
Sad thing is if this happens you have to give Pioli 3 more years. What Coach is gonna come here for 1 year.

If Pioli gets another chance in KC, it could be w/the coach he wanted all along - Kirk Ferentz. Again, nothing completely certain there yet. Why didn't this happen the last 4 years? |

Aren't Clark and Pioli pretty good friends? Had a feeling he would get another opportunity but Clark would get "more involved" with the team. |
If Pioli keeps his job, then say bye bye Geno
|
Yeah Ferentz is the answer ROFL. If Pioki stays and Ferentz is the coach im done with this team.

This would be PR suicide. Clark would be the new Mike Brown

With the news of Cleveland cleaning house, the lack of news of the Chiefs cleaning house, and now this...certainly odds Pioli staying are higher than I imagined a month ago.

If they havn't seen enough "outcry" then just see what happens if Pioli stays.

You'll hear crickets on Sundays at Arrowhead

You satisfied with Freeman Al?

Omfg if this is true I have no idea what I'm going to do. Yes, I'll be done with this team, but I'll be done with football cuz I can't root for another team. I've tried to pick another team to get thru football season with theses past few years and I can't do it. I end up having no football season. If Pioli stays I'm ****ing through. Completely. :(

1 of those conditions is going to be a QB. Cassel was benched during the season and is set to make 7.5M = gone. Quinn on a 1 year contract and played like t he dogshit he is = gone. Stanzi still a member of the inactive club in his 2nd year = should retire. |

Hearing this, too. RT @AlbertBreer: If Pioli gets another chance in KC, it could be w/the coach he wanted all along - Kirk Ferentz. |
And then they "seal" the deal with one last high five...

Matt Flynn, Alex Smith and Michael Vick all just googled best places to live in KC.

This is one of the things that annoys me about social media. Every "reporter" on the planet goes full reerun and flings as much shit as possible against a wall. When .01% of it sticks.....look I predicted that....ain't I something?

If Clark is stupid enough to let that turd continue to run this organization, it will be the death of this franchise. The NFL is entertainment, and the shit Pioli put together ain't entertaining. It is Battlefield Earth level bad.
He had his chance, and he failed miserably. Move on. |
You know, I might be crazy for thinking this but if we win today I could totally see Clark rolling with the whole we went out with a W and I see progress. We need to lose and lose big today.
|
If the 2013 Chiefs are Pioli and a coach in danger getting fired at Iowa, the suckfest will continue for a few more years. Regardless of QB.
|
Is Ferentz's buyout really 18 mil?

What pisses me off about this is the fact of where there is smoke there is usually fire too. Considering this has been growing for the last week I am starting to worry a little bit.
If he is back, you can kiss a good first round QB goodbye and yet another shitty draft. What owner in his right mind actually allows a GM to pick 3 head coaches in less than 5 years? |
Quote:
Not to mention, we can't rule out that piolis arrogance will never let him use the top pick for a qb. He will trade out, just to prove that he didn't get handed his qb, but was a mastermind behind a genius trade out of the spot. ****. This is the worst case scenario because a new qb and ferentz an quickly turn this team into a 7-8 game winner. Which is probably acceptable to true fans. |
We're the Rihanna of fanbases, 8-8 will bring most fans back regardless of who's in the front office. Hopefully that's not Clark's goal.
|
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
On KC: Pioli's best to stay w #Chiefs is to bring in #Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz. Hear Iowa coaches are calling around, inquiring about jobs. |
Quote:
The good news is, it's a no brainer that Romeo will be fired, but no public announcement yet. If rac is fired and we hear nothing of pioli, it's time to panic. |

I can't root for another team, but I can definitely stop caring about this one. If he stays the number one pick will be wasted, and we'll probably have it again. I've never understood the Ferentz talk. He's never done a god damn thing to impress me. If this is what Clark chooses to do I won't be making trips to Arrowhead, and will buy nothing Choefs related. Clean house, and ill be right there.

Usually, when this kind of shit comes out the last day of the season it happens. If Pioli isn't fired by tomorrow we are absolutely ****ed. |
This just blows my mind on a million different levels.
You let this asshole pick ANOTHER COACH? Another coach he's "comfortable with" another coach who's out of touch with reality, and another coach who flat out sucks? There's a lot of smoke to this. Pioli has done a masterful job of conning Clark into believing he could fix things. I'm sick over this. |
I'd be really hard to believe that wholesale changes wouldn't happen after the worst year I can remember. Clark Hunt hopefully is thinking, can I honestly expect Pioli to turn around his own mess? If the answer is, as it should be, no. If you don't make a change now, why bother ever changing? Why give Pioli one two or three more years, and then change? Wasting what I promise will be non winning seasons. Do it now. Hunt can't think Pioli is the man to turn this around.
|
The reason to worry is that, if Hunt is considering keeping Pioli, he would float little trial balloons in the media and see what happens. If there is no fan outrage, he keeps Pioli. We need to demonstrate outrage somehow (e.g. picketing Hunt's house, a billboard in KC, letters/posts in blogs, letters to Clark, etc.)
|
Where can I find a baby seal?

In an era with pistol offense, spread offense, this team would be going back to the stone age with Ferentz.
Literally keeping Pioli is the death blow, but keeping Pioli and hiring another tree ****er like Ferentz is just the icing on the cake. Clark, go **** yourself you weasel one who sucks the penis. Enjoy your 1/5th full Arrowhead. |
This would be like setting fire to your house for the insurance money, only to realize, you forgot to renew your policy.
