Peter King: Romeo to be fired, No Ferentz in KC, No word on Pioli

Just reported on NBC Football Night in America.

Romeo to be fired

No word on Pioli

Definitely no Kirk Ferentz.

Jerm 12-30-2012 06:15 PM

Thank God about Ferentz...

Scorp 12-30-2012 06:15 PM

JFC. Pioli is gone. Everyone with a god damn brain knows that.

Messier 12-30-2012 06:15 PM

Two good news.

One ?????

jd1020 12-30-2012 06:15 PM

Stanzi is sad... his only chance of signing a second contract in the NFL was just denied.

bevischief 12-30-2012 06:15 PM

We've been watching this franchise **** up for years, how are we supposed to know that Clark isn't a dumbass?

 A LOT of people picked the Chiefs to win the division or at least go to the playoffs. It wasn't rare.

Spott 12-30-2012 06:16 PM

Peter King gargles horse semen and fists his dog.

RealSNR 12-30-2012 06:17 PM

Jesus ****, Clark.

Fire the dildo.

O.city 12-30-2012 06:17 PM

I'd say this is actually good news, cause when King talks he has to take Scotts junk out of his mouth to do so, so I'd say that Scotts holding off till the last minute to tell people one way or the other.

ChiliConCarnage 12-30-2012 06:17 PM

Praise Jeebus on the Ferentz news

FringeNC 12-30-2012 06:17 PM

If it's known Crennel is gone, how can it NOT be known whether or not Pioli is gone? If Pioli isn't fired today or tomorrow, I don't think he's getting fired.

Man did they underestimate the impact Crennel had on how terrible the Browns were.

milkman 12-30-2012 06:17 PM

If Pioli is still here after tomorrow, then none of the other bullshit matters.

This team is broken at the top.

displacedinMN 12-30-2012 06:18 PM

KF is not an option for many jobs because of the last few years.
Not the glory boy right now.
Iowa is stuck- 28 million to fire him

htismaqe 12-30-2012 06:18 PM

Just talked to my buddy again...Ferentz is definitely NOT coming to KC. He said King is correct on Ferentz.

KCrockaholic 12-30-2012 06:18 PM

Probably already been posted, but Len Dawson is traveling with the team today. Once he's back he'll give us an update if it's not already known.

O.city 12-30-2012 06:19 PM

So Ferentz is out, Pioli's HC'ing pool is diminishing by the minute.

KCrockaholic 12-30-2012 06:19 PM

I never believed any of the Ferentz crap. He's looked at as a king as Iowa. I highly doubt he wants to leave that place.

jd1020 12-30-2012 06:20 PM

Does "definitely no Ferentz" mean that his only tie to the Chiefs isn't going to be around any longer?

The Franchise 12-30-2012 06:20 PM

Well....that leaves McDaniels.

Noss 12-30-2012 06:21 PM

Promises.... Promises.... Promises......

Bob Dole 12-30-2012 06:21 PM

Pioli should just turn in his ****ing resignation.

Never in Bob Dole's life has he seen ANYONE run a business into the ground while pissing off 95% of the customer base, and still have a business to run.

Because King talks DIRECTLY to Pioli. Think about it for a minute, Romeo is FOR SURE getting fired and Ferentz is FOR SURE not coming, but Pioli's status is up in the air.

Obviously, Pioli told him he plans to fire Romeo if he is retained. But Pioli doesn't yet know his own fate.

If Pioli gets fired, so does Romeo.

So Romeo is gone no matter what.

O.city 12-30-2012 06:22 PM

Pioli, McDaniels, Cassel!

Match made in Heaven.

Hammock Parties 12-30-2012 06:23 PM

Peter King and Scott Pioli are butt buddies.

If Peter King doesn't know, nobody knows.

FloridaMan88 12-30-2012 06:23 PM

Considering how hard of a time the Chiefs had finding ASSISTANT coaches this past offseason, good luck trying to find any halfway credible HC candidates if Fat Scott is retained.

O.city 12-30-2012 06:23 PM

Anyone with ST's, have the new forms been sent out yet?

Either Pioli hasn't been told shit yet, or he's waiting until the last minute to inform his ass ****ing buddies.

Or he told them not to tell till he has something else lined up.

I think Clark may be stupid enough to retain pioli, but I don't think pioli is really stupid enough to retain cassel.

If pioli is retained, I'm sure Clark has addressed the qb situation.

Sadly it will be Glennon and not geno smith.

It isn't just the QB. It's his entire power trip. Remember this is the guy that on day 1 of his hiring said what kind of defense we were going to play and who our QB was going to be (most likely) before we even had a coach.

O.city 12-30-2012 06:28 PM

Shit, think about this. When McDaniels is brought in , what other QB you think he might want? One that he traded up to draft in the first round a few years ago?

Pioli, McDaniels, Cassel, Tebow

He is a money-grubbing dumbass, that's fact. And now it's so bad it may not be able to be fixed. The folks on MetroSports are taking my queue and actually talking (right now) about how no quality people (player or coaches) want to come to KC. That can't be fixed overnight, this team is officially a leper colony..

notorious 12-30-2012 06:29 PM

McDaniels would help this team immensely.

I am done if Pioli stays. Period. There are several better and more productive things I can spend my money on. That, and I don't feel like raising my kids to cheer for this joke of a franchise...I just don't think I could put them through that if Clark really cares this little about the fans and the state of the product on the field.

kcpasco 12-30-2012 06:40 PM

It's beyond pathetic that McDouche is probably an upgrade over Romeo.

mcaj22 12-30-2012 06:41 PM

what if Pioli gets Bill O Brien?

still no?

I mean if Pioli is here, its going to be someone within his tree, so who is the best case out of all these turds that Tom Brady still somehow keeps employed around the league

Still no. I'm tired of this tree. In fact, Pioli/Belichick/Parcells tree needs to be cut down and fed to a wood chipper. The pieces should then be burned and the ashes sealed in a metal cylinder and shot deep into space.
