I demand a recount

For what it's worth, this is a little bit of a flawed metric, as the software doesn't actually track this stuff, and deleted messages aren't normally counted in the post totals that I track. However, this is the 1 millionth time a post has been submitted (no matter what happened to it after that) since the first post of 2012.

Na, that's too much work. But the software automatically takes some out. I think. At any rate, the stats in the AdminCP never exactly match my manual calculations based purely on Post IDs.

Well, the problem is that any method other than the one I used would result in a moving target. In other words, if someone went and deleted a post from earlier in the year, the 1 millionth post would shift. Because of that, I think my method is about as good as it can possibly get.

But in terms of what is actually the 1 millionth post currently in the database? No. I can't prove that it isn't yours without a lot more work than I care about. :)

As the official poster of the 1,000,000th post of 2012, I want to thank AustinChief for making it all possible. I'd like to thank the mods for maintaining a semblance of normalcy and keeping the community going for 12 years, now. That's impressive.
