5 Moves the Kansas City Chiefs Should Make to Drastically Improve Next Season

Thought this would give everyone a chuckle:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...ve-next-season

1. Hire Jon Gruden
2. Use No. 1 Overall Pick on Georgia LB Jarvis Jones
3. Trade for Washington Redskins' QB Kirk Cousins
4. Switch Back to the 4-3 Defense
5. Let WR Dwayne Bowe Walk and Sign Packers WR Greg Jennings

AussieChiefsFan 12-31-2012 02:55 AM

all of my wat

tmw4h5 12-31-2012 02:56 AM

**** it, why not?

Actually, a Bowe for Jennings free-agency trade would be okay by me.

Rugby Thompson 12-31-2012 02:59 AM

**** jennings, bowe is better with a real qb

I agree with signing Greg Jennings (keeping Bowe) and pass on the rest.

crazycoffey 12-31-2012 03:02 AM

1. Stop posting shit from Bleacher Report.

CoMoChief 12-31-2012 03:05 AM

jones is a olb no?

we have hali and houston already.

Anyong Bluth 12-31-2012 03:19 AM

This article's writer is a ****ing dumbshit reerun. He makes piss poor rationalizations for picking Jones, promotes hiring Gruden only to say there is a ****-all's chance that KC would be able to since he's looking for that special / perfect situation in a Large market....
Then we should let Bowe because "he deserves to sign with a contender.". Then just sign someone like Brandon Jennings - which he contradicts himself right away saying Jennings will probably look to sign with a contending team or his hometown of DETROIT...

ARTICLE EARNS AN F - & that's me being generous

Sorter 12-31-2012 03:29 AM

First off, **** Bleacher Report.

Nevermind, that's all I have to say about the OP.

Chiefspants 12-31-2012 03:46 AM

I am sure Jennings will want to come here.

beach tribe 12-31-2012 05:59 AM

Switching to the 4-3 would be a HUGE mistake.

New World Order 12-31-2012 06:06 AM

Jennings is declining, would cost a ton and is injury prone.

No thanks.

Red Beans 12-31-2012 06:46 AM

PCP is not good for your brain...

Ace Gunner 12-31-2012 06:53 AM

Jarvis Jones is somehow supposed to be the missing piece in a 43 defense for the Chiefs? No ****ing way. The Chiefs can't play 43 because they have no 43 pass rusher. Tamba would be a no fit - cut, Bailey might be a 43 rusher, maybe. nah. They got nobody for 43RDE.

Hell, now that fatass Dorsey has been replaced with Ropati, the DL is playing quite a bit better in pass pressure.

Cousins is a good QB, but what are you giving up for this guy? **** that. Draft a couple QB's this coming year and get motoring with the 34. Sign Bowe and get somebody in here to coach this team up again. And keep drafting QB's. **** FA -- its a wasteland of has beens and pussies.

That was the only part I agreed with, except that he'd never come here.

Again, gruden hasn't just looked at the spread. He has been studying it intensely. I think people think he's going to come back with a stale offense when in reality, he will probably come with a pretty innovative scheme. I'd much rather gruden than cowher, as long as gruden doesn't insist on Tampa 2, which I think he's smart enough to not do.

notorious 12-31-2012 09:32 AM

Gruden went through 11tybillion QB's at Tampa.

I don't know if this is a great thing or a bad thing.

CaliforniaChief 12-31-2012 09:36 AM

It's pretty simple.

1. Fire Pioli and the entire coaching staff, replacing them with any GM/coach who never had anything to do with the cursed tree.
2. Re-sign Bowe and Albert.
3. Sign another WR, a safety, a backup QB, a backup RB, and a RE.
4. Draft a franchise QB #1 and BPA across the board.
5. Lower prices of parking/seats to restore Arrowhead Magic. Boom.

KCDC 12-31-2012 09:40 AM

1. Jon Gruden is lke RAC -- the game has passed him by

2. Good idea to draft someone in an area of strength, rather than draft someone where there is a gaping, bottomless, chasm lack of talent at the most important position on the team (sarcasm)

3. Kirk Cousins did a good job replacing RGIII. Matt Cassel did a good job rplacing Tom Brady. Matt Flynn did a good job replacing Aaron Rodgers. Beware the few game replacements. Also, Washington wants a fortune for him.

4. Switching back, just as we get rid of our last 4-3talent (Dorsey) makes no real sense. It takes a couple of years wrth of draft picks to accomplish and likely means getting rid of anumber of talented 3-4 players.

5. Neutral on this.
