Was a LBs coach for Philly, so he knows the Jim Johnson scheme and has connection to Andy Reid.

More importantly, he ran a very good version of a 3-4 with San Diego, and ran a scheme KC can QUICKLY start running without a ton of changes.

We need a guy like this who can flex the scheme to the players. Andy Reid is not the type of coach to hire a DC who only knows one way to do things.

Chicago did the samething last year, though, and Lovie stayed a year.

It makes no sense to do it that way and force the new HC on the GM.

What a magnificent offseason this would be if we end up with Reid and his guys running the offense and team dynamic while Ron Rivera takes over the defense...and the cherry on top would be Geno Smith.

I've wanted this combo for some time...the only hire I would have liked more would have been Cowher, but the more I think about it the more I like Reid more. As long as he gets a good DC, this team will turn things around quickly.

I want my son to know what THE REAL ARROWHEAD feels/sounds like.

I was planning on it, but with a new baby coming in July or August, I don't know that it's in the cards.


I will attend as many games as possible though.

If all of that goes down....I'll be pissed that I don't live there specifically so I could buy STs.

Reid was my third HC fav (Cowher and Arians were the top two, but I thought Reid would be a lock to SD)

Rivera was my top guy for DC for months and I've even called for him when it was a possibility in years past. I love the way the guy coaches defenses.

Sounds more appealing to me then these worn out Browns and Patriots trees.

He's part of it in his role as HC. Some guys are outstanding coordinators and not HC:s. He's one of them.

Who would the OC be?

I don't think they get rid of Rivera. Having said that. He would be my 1st choice for DC. 2nd choice would be Winston Moss.
