Would you want to own/drive it?

Lamborghini Ankonian Concept Car – Perfect Batmobile for the Next Batman Movie
JANUARY 5, 2010 23:31

Designer Slavche Tanevsky created a new concept Car – Lamborghini Ankonian. We can say that this reinterpreted version superdorogoy and exclusive Lamborghini Reventon, with its own unique advantages. The design was done in 2008 and it was chosen by the Chefdesigner of Lamborghini in the top 3 designs.

Following the Lamborghini tradition, Tanevsky named the car “Ankonian” after the bull type which is famous for his black hair (that’s why designer chose black color). The concept is a mid-engined supercar that is not ‘green’, but yet shows environmental responsibility, and therefore is downsized.

Instead of showing power and aggression through some wild graphical elements (for example headlights) Tanevsky achieved the same through the complexity of the main body which is rather softly designed, (and has a flair of the Italian elegance), and the angular, stealthy and sharp elements which remind of shields.

Concerning the design language, Lamborghini Ankonian put the Reventon style to the next level, even more aggressive and crazy, but yet elegant, and more harmonious. The main themes behind the concept, which actually make the chosen design language even stronger, are ‘underground’ and ‘hardcore’. This is achieved by the triangular forms, for example, but mostly with the color combination of shiny black and matt dark grey.

Thin OLEDs embedded between the surfaces function as headlights, and while all those lines may look weird, the Ankonian supposedly makes the best use of it all. If Batman won’t take it, we most certainly will. (Though if Bruce Wayne could still provide the funds, that might help.)

jd1020 01-06-2013 07:06 PM

No.

O.city 01-06-2013 07:06 PM

**** yeah I would.

In58men 01-06-2013 07:07 PM

Pass

Scorp 01-06-2013 07:07 PM

I'm Batman!

Frazod 01-06-2013 07:08 PM

Sure. I'd sell it and by a huge house and a '70 Chevelle.

In58men 01-06-2013 07:08 PM

2nd gander.........still pass

EagleRob 01-06-2013 07:11 PM

Mr Laz, we talking about the car or the avatar? Car, drive not own. Avatar....same.

Strongside 01-06-2013 07:12 PM

This looks like something Robo Carl would drive.

Iowanian 01-06-2013 07:12 PM

I'd like to own one on paper for half price and then sell it for full price and mail the title.

No desire to drive or own outside of raw profit.

Someone I know ordered a new shelby, I'd like to drive that.

MahiMike 01-06-2013 07:12 PM

That's so awesome. Will it pull my boat though?

It IS a boat.

Bwana 01-06-2013 07:15 PM

Love to drive it, own it, not so much.

NJChiefsFan 01-06-2013 07:17 PM

How many cup holders?

morphius 01-06-2013 07:17 PM

It's kind of ugly, but dammit I would drive it anyway. Looks like it was built for a wraith remake.

CoMoChief 01-06-2013 07:19 PM

Tumbler > that thing

Strongside 01-06-2013 07:21 PM

But does it have cruise control?

buddha 01-06-2013 07:32 PM

Love it...would love to own it and drive it.

FYP

KC native 01-06-2013 07:34 PM

I'm not a Lambo person (Ferraris look way better) but I would drive and own it.

A limited car like that from Lambo will only increase in value. Plus you would get to drive it on occasion.

seclark 01-06-2013 07:35 PM

where do you put the bumper stickers?

This.

I doubt it does well in the snow and dirt roads.

Exoter175 01-06-2013 07:39 PM

I love driving anything and everything. Would love to add this to the list. Would not add this to the list of things I'd own. Even if I could afford it, Lambos are supposed to get bitches, not make them turn and run away crying.

OrtonsPiercedTaint 01-06-2013 07:42 PM

Looks like a botched circumcision

Bugeater 01-06-2013 07:55 PM

No. I could probably buy a dozen kickass muscle cars for what that atrocity costs.

BIG_DADDY 01-06-2013 08:01 PM

That is a seriously bad ass looking ride.

son if you want a Lamborghini just to pick up chicks...
you should just wave 100 dollar bills at them

turn in your man card and be done with you

notorious 01-06-2013 08:04 PM

It would look better without the exposed tires in the rear and the hunched back.

Chief Roundup 01-06-2013 08:05 PM

Ugly. It looks like a vette with some horrible add-ons

Exactly. That thing would last about 10 minutes up at Bridger Creek, but it would be one hell of a time for 10 minutes. Hold my beer and watch this.

I'd like it for awhile, but get tired of it.

30 year old cars usually look dated, but it still looks awesome IMO.

wouldn't mind just taking it for a spin.

CHENZ A! 01-06-2013 08:43 PM

Yes but i'm changing the wheels.

Papi 01-06-2013 09:31 PM

Hell yes, that's sexy. But uh... how do you open the door?

Lzen 01-06-2013 10:02 PM

That is bad ass! Would love to drive it. But it's not too practical.

DaFace 01-06-2013 10:16 PM

Would I like to own it? Sure - I'm sure it's fast as hell and a lot of fun to drive.

Would I pay for it? No, but that's no different than any other high-end sports car.

I would not be able to face myself in the mirror if I turned down the chance to drive, much less own, something that looks that much like the damn Batmobile.

Bump 01-06-2013 11:12 PM

if someone wanted to give me that and said they would pay for any repairs and the insurance and taxes than I'd be down.

We Planeteers need to join forces on a billion dollar enterprise so we can all stop complaining and afford nice things like this, Mr. Bump.

There's nothing like driving an uber-expensive automobile. People stare at you at stop lights, the gas station, the bank drive-thru, everywhere. Plus, there's an additional, fabulously fantastical benefit. When you pull into a restaurant/bar/whatever, you can park pretty much wherever the hell you want ... like right in front and nobody cares. Then (if people see you drive up), when you enter the restaurant/bar/whatever, you can pick up pretty much any unattached girl in the place without even making much of an attempt. And the bonus is, it doesn't matter if you're ugly as a dogfaced monkey. An uber-expensive automobile is akin to magic.

I'll probably end up with a new Mazdaspeed3 because I can't find a GXP.

One of the out of state ranchers shipped his F1-McClaren from Florida to White Sulphur Springs Montana a few years ago. He couldn't get within 10 miles of the ranch and had to rent a bay at the gas station to park it over night for a week until he shipped it back.

My license plates on my pick-up are 300-400 bucks a year (no sales tax in Mt). I can't imagine what they are on that car. So it's a lot of money for a car that can't get me where I want to go.

However, I'd love to race it up Beartooth Pass!!!

Duck Dog 01-07-2013 08:36 AM

Looks stealth. Baddass too. But how do you see around you? Doesn't look llike something I'd drive in traffic.

That Pontiac is actually a G8 GT, not a GTO.
