Time to sign Brett Favre to a 1-year deal
Just saying....I know he's 43. But we all know that guy is almost considered ageless...like from another planet. He has true longevity. His ankle has to be healed 100%, along with other parts of his body. I'd just like to see him try out. We can still draft our #1 QB, but Favre is a guy that makes players better, he's a guy that players would play out of their minds for. He's like a Montana, a Peyton Manning, guys around him know that if they play their asses off and keep him off the ground, They'll win the game. He's better than anyone we've trotted out there in the last 6 years...yes even at 43. Childress, Pederson, Reid, all are coaches that he's worked with in the past. Match made in heaven. Sign Jennings, convince Tony Gonzalez to come back 1 more year and retire as a Chief. Let's make a ****in run at this thing!!! We could do it....why?
BRETT MOTHER****IN FAVRE!!!! that's why... :evil::evil: |
I knew someone would post this eventually.
Oh, CoMo...
STFU
He's ageless, like Roger Clemens Gordie Howe....these guys are ageless wonders from another planet. Hell Jordan can still hoop it up if he got into playing shape, he works out and practices w/ the Bobcats..dude can still score and defense it up....I'd bet Favre can still play. Time for him to start throwing lasers at the local Hattisburg MS highschool or where ever he's from. Time to get into shape!

Dumbest thread ever...besides, from all accounts, Favre was not fond of Brad Childress anyway.
It'll be sweet when we trade in our white pants for Wranglers. Be lighting it up all day wearing those bad boys!!!
I really really really like this idea.
Some people get the munchies.....Como makes threads
I wish this could really happen.
**** it. why not. cant get any worse
You remember on Sunday when RG3 fell crippled to the ground trying to retrieve the botched shot gun snap?
That would be Favre on his first play. ROFL |
Len Dawson is available..right?
I'm only 62, I would love a chance to catch one across the middle. I'm quite sure nothing bad would happen like a linebacker taking my fricken head off and crushing my rib cage. Ya, that's the ticket. Hey, someone have the Chiefs front office call me. I'll suit up and be there in a couple of days. Sure hope the airlines doesn't charge me extra for my canes and walker. Just a thought, but makes about as much sense as what I've just been reading.
In my short time here, this might be the stupidest post I've ever read. And I once read a post here that had something Peter King said.
Maybe Brett Favre really IS Trent Green 2.0.
Is Bart Starr still alive?
Dude. Wait. What?
I'd rather see this thread than another goddamn Vick thread.
Greatest QB ever!!
I think the pressure is getting to you

Good job, Halfwit. |
And I'm the one with my thread making privileges taken away?
Why don't you just have him text you a pic of his Johnson instead?
Favre, Gonzalez, Dawkins, Tim Brown. Let's bring them all back and make a run at this thing.
I hear Montana still has some zip on that geriatric throwing motion.
Wanna see my penis?
Every once in a while I think about starting a thread and risking it all but fear and common sense holds me back. A 12 pack in and a few Jacks and even I can tell you this is bad idea.

Everyone knows that the only Hall of Fame or future Hall of Fame QB to win a Superbowl title at the end of his career was John Elway. Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre may be ageless, but none of them have or had the same stamina as Elway during their final year or two in the NFL. Montana and the Chiefs got mauled by the Bills in the 1993 AFC Championship (Montana got injured in the 2nd quarter), and Favre and the Vikings came up short of the Superbowl 2 or 3 years ago in the NFC Championship. For the last time, KC Chiefs fans need to stop depending on or looking for past prime QB's to get them all the way to the Superbowl. It's a fantasy, not a reality. Seriously, when has an NFL team ever made it to the Superbowl and won by signing a QB 1 or 2 years away from retirement, or a QB that decided to come out of retirement for 1 year? It would be a first if Manning did it with the Broncos.
