The Geno Smith ballwashing on this board is getting ****ing ridiculous.

Did no one see him shrivel up in every meaningful game he played in. . . only to be followed up by his childish tirades on the sideline. I do think we should find a quarterback at 1, but calling Geno smith as "emerging" is simply laughable.

Josh Freeman, Jay Cutler and Andy Dalton need to go in here somewhere.

Cutler is in limbo. Freeman, Dalton and Newton should all go in the same category.

You are so quick to forget his performances from the rest of the year, and last year. The guy shredded the top defenses in college football last year. His team ****ing blew donkey balls this year.

That's funny. I don't remember "shriveling" up in the Orange Bowl against Clemson, which is the biggest game of his career to this point.

I'll take any of those guys on my team right now above Manning, Brady, and Brees. A couple may not make it in the long run, but its all about the future and those guys have a really good shot. They're hot.

Newton has clear talent, he just has a shitty surrounding cast.

Dalton and Freeman are still footnotes.

I'd include Andy Dalton somewhere on that list for now. Especially if you're going to include Newton.

Disagree about Brees. The NFL had hand in his demise this year. The other two have no such excuse.

Brees threw for 5k yards and over 40tds for the 2nd year in a row. I don't think there is a whole lot more he could have done statistically to save his team from the NFL cutting his team in half.

Geno Smith, Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, RGIII are not Hot in anyway.
Geno well he hasn't played shit.
Matt Ryan just got beat but has to have all world talent around him to get there.
Cam is meh. Flashes maybe but not hot.
RGIII is broken. Both knees have just had procedures one of the knees this is the 2cd surgery on the same ligament. He will be sidelined for a year so he is definately not hot.

In terms of future SB wins, I'll take the new hot group over still hot, limbo, fading, and not combined.

We shall see. AP and so on have set the bar high. Remember this happened to him after the regular season. The surgery normally requires 12 to 18 month recovery. It isn't just one knee it is both and it is a repeat on one of the ligaments.

Just yesterday, Peyton's Princess declared Kaepernick UNSTOPPABLE and assured me that he is going to revolutionize the game as we know it. I immediately rushed out and ordered my Kaepernick jersey so I could be just like the cool kids. And now you seem to be suggesting that defenses may adjust to Kaepernick's style of play and he might not be Elway, Montana, Brady, and Manning all rolled into one after only eight games started in his career. Say it isn't so!
