Most of the talking heads say we won't take a QB #1 and that seems likely to me but, I think we will take one in the first round.

They say these things to incite discussion and arguments. Have you seen Bob Fescoe's twitter, he's always putting up questions and statements that are clearly not the way a sane person thinks.

Danny Parkins got me a week ago saying that we couldn't just trade our first for Philadelphias first and Nick Foles, that trade would cost us more than the number one overall pick for such talent.

They say these things to get the listeners blood boiling and it works. I mean that was Nick Wrights whole thing was to be the guy who said what you didn't want to hear. I miss Nick Wright, 610 has become a Jerry Springer show since he left. I like The Big Show and Carrington Harrison, that's about it... maybe Josh Klingler.

Living out here in Denver and listening to both 610 and 810 streaming compared to the Denver sports talk shows out here, i'll admit it is nice to hear Chiefs talk but other than that 610 and 810 are embarrassing overall and I am not a Denver fan in any fashion whatsoever. The hosts, the formats are just bad.

Foscoe, Klingler, Danny Parkings and Carrington are all on the QB bandwagon. They're good to listen to for draft talk. Parkins was interviewing Dorsey the other day about the BPA logic and was trying to push the idea to Dorsey that if there is a QB that deserves to be drafted in the top 10, then he deserves to be drafted 1st overall. Dorsey of course gave the normal GM speak answer.

Fesco - No idea where he's leaning. It's probably not QB.
Klingler - (his co-host) has been saying QB all along. Has said several times if you can take a QB at 6, why not 1.

Danny & Cdot - Danny is all in on QB in the first. Cdot is hessitent. Just wants a good one.

Big show - Blinkley the only one of the 3 who is all in on QB. Vernier & JC are clueless. They both would like to do the FA QB route I think.

I can't stand 810 because they're Pimps; they're always broadcasting from somewhere, tellig us how amazing the burgers or sandwiches are; rambling on about them for 3-5 minutes (or more) after they come back from a break.

Klingler is probably the best out of all of them at 610. Poor Bastard is saddled with Fescoe.

I think he has a pretty rational level of thoughts, and seems to 'get it'. Though, I don't really listen to sports radioo all that much after the Super Bowl, so I'm not sure what he's like on other sports.

810 has actual GOOD guests.

I'd be a lot less inclined to listen to Keitzman if he talked all the time like the guys on 610.

810 actually has GREAT guests a lot of the time.

Thinks the best scenario for the Chiefs is if Geno solidifies himself as the overall #1. Didn't seem to think Geno not playing at the Senior Bowl was a big deal at all. Bigger deal for guys looking to dramatically improve their stock (ie. Fisher).

Seemed pretty concerned about Tyler Wilson's hand size. Said he's a big fan of guys that can extend plays, like Big Ben. Said part of that is feet but part of it is also the pump fake. Concerned that Wilson will have issues with it.

I think 610 is better for breaking news and the draft as they are more honed in on social media. I think 810 has better guests and better takes with the exception of KK going full bozo.

Oh and, if Cassel was a KC sports media member he'd be Roger Twibell.

I was comparing the 2 stations, not the 2 stations to this website. I'll read tweets here then hear the person live on 610 later in the day.

At the end of the day, both stations have their positives and both stations have their negatives. If you use them both you can cut out a lot of the negatives. I don't stay married to one or the other.

I don't know, maybe it's my age. I just can't listen to 610 for more than a few minutes.

Of course, most of the guys on 810 are right around my age.

I think it is an age thing for a lot of people. I'm 36 and some of the college-like banter on 610 gets annoying, but I do appreciate their adaption to social media. Perfect example, chiefs0'sfan or whatever his name is, was posting live tweets from the SB in the Tyler Wilson thread. An hour or so later I get in my car to drive home and 610 has the tweeter on live to expand on his tweets. I appreciate that more than Kevin Harlan giving a middle of the road take because he doesn't want to piss anyone off (and I like Harlan). I do like the Bob Glauber, Jayson Stark, and sport prediction machine guy segments though. Petro has the undisputed best Royals discussion in the city.

I know; but they do it WAY more than other stations. Other stations have remotes, but certainly not 4 times a week like 810 does for 2 of their 3 shows.

Much like the garbage 98.99 has WAY more commercials than anyone else.

610 is owned by Entercom. They could literally have NO commercials and not go out of business.
