I love pro football and will pretty much watch any game, but the pro bowl is barely above preseason for me. It seems like it should be good, but it never is.

I'm old enough to remember the old College All-Star games where the rookie draft picks would play against the Super Bowl champion. Those were kind of interesting, but the odds of such a game happening in this day and age are zero. I think our own Jack Rudnay had a serious injury in that game and missed a season or so. You wouldn't get many first round picks showing up these days.

I wish they'd figure a better way to pick who goes, and then only those people are pro bowlers. The game can go away entirely. Fans and players are reeruns when it comes to voting. In fact everyone they have right now, is pretty much off.

Here's what the NFL should.

Select the Pro Bowl roster, then simulate a game on Madden.

The actual live game is about as uselful as a eunuch in a whore house.

Baseball is boring as hell to watch on tv but actually going to the K is pretty fun

I watch every year. It's horrible but it's the best football game on that day.

That's the way I feel.

I also always liked watching the pro bowl skill challenges and old retired guy flag football games etc.

over the past 20 years I've watched say 20 mins of PB football. So I may or may not watch 1 minute of this probowl. Is that "1"?

That stuff actually is fun to watch.

I went to the game last year and had a great time, but everyone present knew the game itself was a joke. I feel sorry for all the people down here who will never know what a real game is like, especially a real Chiefs game with a flyover.

But I will probably tune in since it is still better than half the other shit that is on that day.

My interest in the ProBowl is about 100X greater than my interest in the super bowl.

Skill challenges are kind of fun, the game, not so much.

If it is on in my house, it is likely as background as I do other things.

I'd watch something like a skills competition.

Overall the ProBowl is stupid...players don't try hard, and I don't blame them, they're not wanting to risk inj. Certain rules prevent the game from being real (Can't sack the QB) again because of risking inj.

I used to like the QB skill challenges but haven't seen it for years. I wonder why they ditched it.. seems pretty safe unlike the flag football game that killed that one Patriots RB kids career.

I'd give it a four. I will half ass watch it because so many Chiefs are in it.

I watched the probowl once for about 10 minutes. It was 9 minutes too long.

I had the idea around 10 years ago to have the MFL. Midget football league.

Everything cut in half.

50 yard field. Touchdowns are worth 3, star points are worth a half point...field goals 1-1/2. First downs at 5 yards.

They could have the first half before the game and the completion of the game at halftime.

No one watches it, the players don't like it, and play half assed. Cassel was i a game once, that to me shows that it's a pointless waste of time.
