Best move of the week by Dorsey?

Poll to follow.

inb4 POLE

OrtonsPiercedTaint 03-08-2013 11:09 PM

Glueing the last donut to the pastry box.

Ceej 03-08-2013 11:10 PM

No brainer.

ShowtimeSBMVP 03-08-2013 11:11 PM

Bowe

OrtonsPiercedTaint 03-08-2013 11:11 PM

Actually, nothing is much different than it already was.

In58men 03-08-2013 11:11 PM

Too easy, Bowe

AussieChiefsFan 03-08-2013 11:13 PM

Definitely resigning Bowe.

cdcox 03-08-2013 11:23 PM

Not extending Alex Smith.

ZootedGranny 03-08-2013 11:46 PM

Bowe is the clear choice, but being a dickhead, I went with the Tyson Jackson move just because Dorsey got him to essentially play for the $5 million he would've cost the Chiefs had they cut him.

Bowe's the obvious choice.

But I chose Jackson's contract. He provides depth at a position where it's needed and the move allows the Chiefs to add more players to their roster via FA.

Just my personal opinion.

CoMoChief 03-09-2013 07:24 AM

Whatever happened to Gaz anyways? I don't remember him posting here since around the time I first started to post here at CP.

BlackHelicopters 03-09-2013 07:24 AM

Bowe. Not even close.

Didn't think of that. It was a good move.

Gaz is a pussy who was offended by colorful language.

I dont see how you can put Bowe over Albert, its a tie imo.

A good LT is just as hard to find, maybe harder, than a good receiver... as pass happy as the league is now, a solid LT is critical.

Chiefshrink 03-09-2013 09:56 AM

This poll needs to be postponed because there will be a helluva a lot more moves between now thru draft day.

Hootie 03-09-2013 09:57 AM

Bowe was a no brainer so I say getting that contract in and allowing himself to be able to tag Albert. So I'm saying the Albert tag was the best move.

Rasputin 03-09-2013 10:24 AM

Obvious choice is obvious & how could 74 get it so wrong. MVP Dustin Colquitt of course. This is the year we start seeing all those return guys muff the punts and we get the ball back inside the 20 like a bunch of times. MVP Dustin Colquitt Boom Ch Ka.

Comprehension fail.

wazu 03-09-2013 10:50 AM

I see Tyson Jackson and his parents have all three voted.

While I would not vote this way, I could see how the fact that Dorsey got him restructured to play at a cost equal to his cap number were he cut could sway one to vote that way.

Kidding aside, I'd rank this as the fourth best move. And the last good one. Cutting Eric Winston and Signing Dunta Robinson are two moves I don't get at all right now.

Yeah might as well pay him WELL and sign him up for not having a good 2013 year with Alex at the helm....

Locking up Bowe. Albert is a close second. All of the others moves range from Ok to highly questionable. I think tying up $6 million/year in a kicker and punter is a complete ****ing waste of resources.

I wanted to vote for the MVP but understand that Bowe is on the field for a few more plays each game.

jimw51 03-10-2013 04:27 AM

Bows was a good move

OrtonsPiercedTaint 03-10-2013 04:53 AM

Smehth is Cassel and Bowe is getting Jackson's money. We are down a RT and up a last leg Sammy Knight/Ty Law hybrid.

OrtonsPiercedTaint 03-10-2013 04:59 AM

I wonder how Rex Ryan feels about the screw in TY's foot.

Hey, you better damn well have a punter who can help you win the field position battle if you are goingto dink and dunk your way into FG range.

At this point the Chiefs have a ton of cap room, so I'm good with it. Also sends a message that this regime rewards top performers.

Marty disagrees.
