Noob Question: What happened to the profile messages on people's profile pages?
 

I had received many loving, soothing messages from Dane , R8ERS, and may others over the last few years, as well as shared my own musings and thoughtful well wishes to my many admired colleagues of CP.....What happened to these inspirational messages and the ability to create/receive them.....

Sorry since I'm sure this must be a Q but I mustve missed the official thread....

blocking them didnt prevent the stalking??

Are the messages preserved for historical purposes to re-emerge at a later date when the system can be safeguarded??

Personally, I had to setup my PM's so that only those on my Friend's List are allowed to contact me. I got tired of anonymous buttholes sending me PM's constantly.

Who cares? I probably deleted 100 pages of "notes" from people over the years. Why would anyone want to re-read them?

Because some things were funny as hell that's why.

Well, for one, I do.....I suppose we will see in this thread if others do....You probably had more messages to me than any other single user so apparently you used/enjoyed the system...

I went back and looked at them from time to time, and had a few laughs...

I know there are a few others who got lolz from it...

He was actually banned at the time they pulled the plug on them. IIRC it was DC bullshit that was the root of it.

No, automatic, but when it goes into second it runs rough and sometimes dies.

I'm pretty sure it has reduced 50% of Simply Red's CP actiivty.

The number of people that are incapable of handling their internet pissing matches around here never ceases to amaze me.

Is it any surprise people couldn't handle this feature?

Gotta admit I miss those messages, I had some pretty good stuff on there, gifs that people left etc, that I liked to look back at once in a while. It was also a quick and easy way to drop a line on someone without bothering with pm's.

What about third? Low rpms in first?
