So..... How do you like the draft so far?
Enough said... how do you like it?

I love the Fisher pick.
I like the Kelce pick. I dislike the Davis pick, but I do understand it. The kid is off the charts as an athlete. Right now it's a B- draft for me. |
We had to pick Fisher. I don't blame them there.
I like the TE pick. Davis pick is so bad it raises a red flag about how this regime thinks. It is so bad it actually makes the entire draft meh. Posted via Mobile Device |
I hate the three day setup, I hate that it starts during the week, I hate what the Patriots have done and I think the Chiefs did little to calm the concerns of their fan base.
Thank God for the Jets. |

Fisher was an okay pick given the situation.
I liked drafting the TE from Cincinnati. I hated the Davis pick. |
It's been pretty much everything I expected.
|
Last year we had an offense that put up 3-6 points far to many times in the 1st half of games. And with our first 4 picks this draft we went...
1st LT Fisher 2nd QB Smith 3rd TE Kelce 3rd RB Davis ...so for now I am okay with things. In fact I wouldn't be shocked of upset if we go offense again in the 4th. |
Knile Davis sucks

Chiefs will make the playoffs |
Would someone please tell me what top talent at DT was available with the last 3rd rd pick?
Some of you talk about linebacker psst.. we just signed 4 of them in free agency. Some say safety to replace Kendrick Lewis psst.. we just signed 2 corners. a qb was out of the question, you got that for your 2nd rd pick. What do you want....the honey badger? A play maker? What?? |
I don't think it's a terrible draft Fisher and Kelce will probably be versatile 5+ year starters and Davis is a typical Andy Reid back with his speed.
The only thing I find frustrating is the players they could have had instead, if they turn around tomorrow and grab Barkley or really any of the couple of good developmental QB's I'll be fine with it. |
Fisher will be the only player on the roster in 2017 barring some sick Pioli-esque interference from-on-high stuff.
|
Fisher and Kelce are okay picks, but the Alex Smith trade basically renders it a failure all on its own. That trade negatively impacted what positions we chose to draft, it negatively impacted our ability to trade in both of the first two rounds, it basically set the tone months in advance for how this weekend would go. Add in the failure to move Branden Albert and the new front office has basically turned what could (and should) have been an exciting draft weekend filled with optimism and hope into a giant wet fart.
|
I just don't get the warm and fuzzy that we have improved or upgraded in this draft. We only got an OT to replace a tackle we have yet to trade, so no improve. New TE isn't necessarily an upgrade over Fasano or even Moekei, and obviously we have RB covered. Just not feeling any defined upgrades, but rather depth.
|
It's depressing me further.
I'm questioning how much longer I can be a fan of this team. |
They both need to be fired as soon as possible.

TE Brokedick RB These are the cornerstones of championship teams. Meanwhile we're stuck with holes at: QB WR DL |
Looking good!
Got some balla's. hard hitting, with nasty streaks in them. Kc fan will love these guys. |
C+
Rounds 2 (no pick ugh) & 3 I am disappointed in. It's almost like the NFL pays Chiefs & Co. under the table to stay down and not be competitive and let blue chip franchises keep winning the championships... Are we even trying to compete with Denver? |
As prospects, the talent in this draft sucks shit. Hopefully they turn into something more, but this looks like a bad, bad class.
|
I think Dorsey is smart, like a sneaky smart.
We will be surprised at these picks so I give them a B+ |

If none of the QBs in this draft pan out, I'm fine with it. If one of them does emerger as a franchise guy, I'll never forgive this regime. Ever.
I like the Davis pick. |
Ballz.

It's the job of every GM in the league to find, identify, and draft that guy. Quote:

If you include Alex Smith as part of the "draft" I hate that move, and will until Smith wins a SB.

In a GOOD year, Smith is a 20 td, 14 int. type QB, and you need a 30+ potential TD guy to even think about sniffing a championship. |

"Meh" is a perfect description. I can live with all 3 picks, but I'm having a hard time getting too awful excited about any of them. I think Fisher will be a nice player. I honestly didn't see much of Kelce this year, so I'm probably too ignorant to have an opinion there. Davis seems like a decently high ceiling guy, but unfortunately has a very low floor. There were certainly safer picks at the same position still on the board, and I don't like taking total fliers on guys as early as the 3rd.

Eric Fisher looked pretty dominant against Navy, Ball State, and Akron. Did you see those games?! He positively lit up those tenacious Akron Zip defenders... |
B
Fisher was solid. Obvious pick is obvious since there was no elite QB. I like the TE pick. I'm indifferent about the RB. He's a project. That's fine, it's a late 3rd. If he pans out, amazing. If not, that's what is to be expected from later picks. |

Seriously, no joke, how the **** do you explain this later on to the press and fans?
Honestly. How to you take these picks given to you and the players you selected and try to argue you made good decisions after the fact?... |

NOT ONE IN A DECADE! We fired Peterson and that insufferable prick landed 3 in the draft and 6 more in FA/trades! |
well hopefully guys like Fisher, Charles and Berry can end up being hall of fame caliber players.

Guys Barkley is still available and we pick second tommorow.

every year you guys think the Bengals and Ravens have AMAZING drafts because they follow the same shit that is mocked and spewed out by ESPN and NFL Network. Ravens 2011: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_NFL_Draft Ravens 2010: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_NFL_Draft This was just a quick look back on the amazing Ravens drafts... There 2010 and 2011 weren't that great at all...they got Torrey Smith. Oooh. Whoopdeedoo. there are a lot of shit picks like Sergio Kindle in there and I didn't see one pick after the 3rd round that stuck out in my head like "oooh" The truth is... even the teams every jerks off to every year don't find 'gems' in the 3rd-7th rounds.. they just RARELY ****ing exist so crying about the 96th pick because you think it was a reach is just ****ing reeruned beyond belief and anyone who is mad about it is just a ****ing lunatic the Chiefs scouted the **** out of this draft and are drafting accordingly.. just because their board is different than WalterFootball or Mecca Basement Board doesn't mean they are "reaching"... clearly they are taking BPA on THEIR board get the **** over it honestly the facts are all there...no one ever goes and looks when I point to them... FOR EVERY JARED ALLEN THERE ARE 1000 WILLIAM FRANKLIN'S |
If the ****ing Ravens weren't such chodes, Brandon Williams might have fallen to us. That would have been a great pick.
Arthur Brown wasn't going to happen, but that's understandable |
2012 Ravens: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_NFL_Draft
who the **** is so ****ing great out of these drafts? My Christ I'd take our 2010-2012 over the Ravens |
