Clabo to Miami
@JasonLaCanfora: Clabo going to Dolphins would just about put a steak knife through any chance of a deal with KC for Branden Albert I presume
@RapSheet: What Clabo signing means: Emphasizes the deadness of the Albert-to-MIA deal. Puts pressure on Martin at LT. Eliminates final Dolphins hole @RapSheet: It's a one-year deal for OT Tyson Clabo and the Dolphins. Takes the top free agent tackle available off the market. Moves Martin to the left |
Good.

The "top free agent tackle available" is only worth a "one-year deal"?

Have the Chargers found them a LT ? I hope not ?

No way you trade a player within the division

@evansilva: #Chiefs would now be smart to keep Branden Albert, field best pass-protecting OL possible. Andy Reid pass-first coach.

Albert isn't going anywhere.

I thought we already knew this was over. Guess the media didn't or didn't want to so they would have something to report about.

But in general, I don't think teams are doing this. I think Clark would tell him you better be damn sure we are getting the better end of the deal here and this isn't going to puck us over, especially in the post-season some day. |

You are better off in KC, Branden. KC is no paradice, but without the beaches. The Fins are the Browns in a misqiuto filled sauna.

Filled their last hole? I personally think they're screwed with Martin at LT.
|
Eric Winston is still out there. Weird.

If this doesn't humble Albert and his demands, nothing will.

We just need to sign Albert now, put him at lt fisher at rt and forget about the tackle spot for a while

Fisher is probably a better lt than Albert in the long run but this year he's a much better rt |
We could probably sign him to a pretty good deal, value-wise, then try to trade him next year.
Having to draw up a contract with Albert's pain in the ass agent was a huge obstacle for Miami and the other teams looking for a tackle. Taking that off the table might net us a 2nd for him in 2014. Who knows. |

IF we could sign him to a good value deal, I'd keep him. Either at LT or LG.
I have no problem having a badass ol. Especially when Bray starts taking deep drops to throw it deep down the field |
whatever deal they sign him to in 2-3 years people on here are going to want that cap number cut or restructured anyway
the same way currently with Tamba Hali. |
Sign Albert and have him start off at LT this year. He gets hurt for multiple games again, then put Fisher at LT and never look back.

Bray is PS fodder. Stanzi stays, I don't think Reid cuts QBs.

How many was that again in how many years. Some people still looking for the second coming of Tom Brady. |

I really hope Tannehill is broken in half.

It's all up to him, because Bray has all the talent that you want from a pocket QB. |
10% chance an Udfa qb turns it around like Marino?
Meh that's a bit optimistic |

laugh my ass off if Miami has trouble at OT this year fans will be cussing up a storm about Miami not just giving the higher 2nd rounder and solving the problem. They are taking a big risk over 15 draft spots in the 2nd round. I hope it haunts them all year long |

We need to waste more threads on worthless Brandon Albert

This went from a LB league to a RB league to a QB league and next...an OL league. Was there ever a WR league somewhere in there?

I have next to zero confidence that Bray can get it together and not be a meat head. I think the most he's ever going to be in the NFL is a back up QB.
But if he even makes a small change in his work habits and respect for his coaches, I think this will be enough to oust Stanzi. In addition to overcoming all the attitude hurdles, Bray is waaaay behind on his in-game knowledge. And even his throwing technique is a mess. If people actually are expecting a finely developed QB at the end of this, I hope they're willing to wait a few years. Bray ain't going to be ready this offseason, and probably not next year either. Let's hope Daniel is sturdy, because if HE goes down, Bray is screwed. |

Todays NFL is a lot more QB needy than back in the early 80's. There is zero chance that Dan Marino would have went undrafted. ZERO |

which I've made the Favre comparison too, but Marino missed draft interviews scored a 15 on the wonderlic , with the cocaine rumors and coupled with a shitty senior year. Yeah, Marino could've gone undrafted very easily if he pulled it off during the present day evaluation process. Also with the compendium of QB busts teams are looking for the most picture perfect spotless prospects possible as the face of the franchise because of the fear of ****ing up. As stated Marino pulled shit that present prospects wouldn't even fathom for a second thought amongst NFL evaluators. |
