Been out of the loop for a bit. Why is Frenchy not in the lineup?
|
ELL-E-UTT!!!
|
To hell with their uniforms, too.
Having only numbers and no names is not a sacred tradition to be saved and cherished. It is an old moldy relic when teams could only afford a few shirts, and players were valueless cogs who came and went and had to use the old guy's shirt because the owner was too cheap to buy a new one, or even just sew a new name on. Only a few players transcend to the point where you only need the number. #5 on Royals blue, thats George Brett, etc. For every other random dude in every sport, I want their damned name on the back, living in the stone-age is not cool or superior, it is fan-unfriendly and annoying. |
Granderson and Jeter still out, right?

For entertainment value, I put up a bunch of lines and props I found.

Cain is in RF reports Bob Dutton.

You know what I hate? These frontrunning, butt sniffing wannabe's that have never even BEEN to NYC that are Yankee fans. Poseurs. If you're at the game tonight, don't take any crap off anybody in Yankee gear. If they are an actual New Yorker, tell them the Mets are NYC's real baseball team.
If they're a poseur, just smack them around. Oh, and I wouldn't waste time booing Canoe. That was last year. Just throw at his head every time he comes up. |

So you only have enough hate for one team, who is it--Yankees, Faiders, or Donko's. I have to vote Faiders, no Yankees, no Donks. Crap I can't decide who I hate the most.

No TV? Dish?

OK, this is funny. Mariano Rivera got hurt at the K early last year, so the Yankees prepared a surprise for him on his return.

Dudes on the radio today were saying Billy wasn't getting any pitches to hit. I don't think his bat speed is up to par.
|

|
Annnnnnd Billay tried to ground into a DP with 2 outs.
|
Billy's slumpin'
|
Butler usually doesn't swing at the first pitch.

Billy sure does like hitting those grounders to short.
