Charles Woodson agrees to one year deal with Raiders.
@GottliebShow: Charles Woodson is doing the opposite of ring chasing #Raiders
Oakland: where players go to die. |
Concussion?
|
hey remember when we signed Routt last season? lol
|
I think I woulda liked to grab him and let him play safety. He can still ball a little. Surprised he went back to Oakland though.

Great player... Too bad I will have to begin hating him again.

ROFL Denver gets dissed again

Woodson > Robinson

Pathetic ROFL
Must be D-O-N-E |
Translation: Nobody else gave him an offer.

Peter King @SI_PeterKing
I guess personal history mattered to Woodson. Maybe his wine business. But unless Denver made a horsedung offer, it's a strange decision. |
|
If I were him, I'd rather just retire than waste a year of my life with that shithole of a team.

Zzzz

And Woodson would be "ring chasing" why, exactly? It's not like he hasn't won one yet. I'm sure it's purely a homecoming in anticipation of retirement either before or after the season.

I think it was supposed to say a one day contract with the Raiders.

Dude has nothing left.

Ya back in like 2001. The Raiders haven't been back to the playoffs in like 10 years. At least we've had some teams lately that's made it. Nothing to brag about but it's better than a decade of 2-14 and 5-11 that is the Oakland Raiders

@AdamSchefter: Earlier today on ESPN radio in Denver, Broncos CB Champ Bailey said there was "no friggin way" Charles Woodson would pick OAK. Well... |

Broncos must be C-H-E-A-P

I doubt Woodson will be all that effective as a player on the field, but he'll be invaluable teaching Harden the ropes of playing CB in the NFL. As bad as Oakland has been over the last five years, we've still managed to take the Chiefs to the woodshed more often than not, 7-3 Raiders. Not a big difference nor is it a stinging loss for Denver. He would have been a nice to have, not a need to have player. |

I'm going laugh my ass off this year @ Chump Bailey tripping over his feet in order to keep from looking like he is getting beat all the time. He won't be able to keep up this year and D Bowe is going shove him to the dirt. |

Yep we're pretty cheap. They just did $30M in stadium renovations, including adding the 4th largest scoreboard in professional sports, installed two HEATED fields at Dove Valley and are working on building an indoor practice facility. We so cheep
A cookie for all who guess who sent me that |

Over 100 Raider fans were there to greet him when he drove up.
I'm glad we were able to "convince" him to sign with us. |
