Lot of links on the site aren't working. Guess there's no chance of him fixing them.
|
His website should have a little arcade section.

For anyone with nothing to do today....

Yet Teicher lives.

After reading his thoughts on gun control Im glad he went through with it. Good riddance.
|
meh, he could have designed it a little better cosmetically.

Wow...this is interesting, to say the least. It's a shame that he chose to end his life, but the perspective he offers with respect to his motivations is something that you almost never see.
|
This dude was very strange...

It's weird that he wrote what is basically a book on the internet.
|
He took this Royals 3 game losing streak a little hard......
|
Suicide is such a terrible thing.
|
I'd sooner watch ice melt than read another word of this guy's weepy diatribe. I hope somebody shuts the page down. What's he going to do - complain?

There was a post on reddit that 96.5 was giving updates on it and there were (about an hour ago) roughly 10-15 people out looking. |
Apparently nobody was reading his blog.

I grew suicidal after reading about 20 lines. I chose life.
|
So did anyone find out if he really did it? I mean if he was that precise with his location, the news should have picked this up from the OP Police by now.

Trust me, it's not painless. |

M*A*S*H by ("Suicide is Painless" by Johnny Mandel)
Through early morning fog I see visions of the things to be the pains that are withheld for me I realize and I can see... [chorus]: That suicide is painless It brings on many changes and I can take or leave it if I please. I try to find a way to make all our little joys relate without that ever-present hate but now I know that it's too late, and... [Chorus] The game of life is hard to play I'm gonna lose it anyway The losing card I'll someday lay so this is all I have to say. [Chorus] The only way to win is cheat And lay it down before I'm beat and to another give my seat for that's the only painless feat. [Chorus] MASH The sword of time will pierce our skins It doesn't hurt when it begins But as it works its way on in The pain grows stronger...watch it grin, but... [Chorus] A brave man once requested me to answer questions that are key 'is it to be or not to be' and I replied 'oh why ask me?' 'Cause suicide is painless it brings on many changes and I can take or leave it if I please. ...and you can do the same thing |

Police: Dead man's claim of $200K coin buried at arboretum a hoax Posted: Aug 16, 2013 9:10 AM MDT Updated: Aug 16, 2013 9:34 AM MDT By DeAnn Smith, Digital Content Manager - email OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) - A man who committed suicide claims he buried $200,000 at an area arboretum, but Overland police say it's a hoax. However, extra police apparently are at the Overland Park Arboretum to prevent people from coming with shovels and other utensils to dig. Martin Manley committed suicide about 5 a.m. Thursday at the Overland Park Police Department headquarters. Before he killed himself, he posted details about him burying the coins at the arboretum. The family tells the police that is a hoax, and that Manley actually gave all the coins away. To see more what Manley wrote, click here. Chopper5 is headed to the scene, and we will livestream it. RIP good riddance yuppie trash

It's a coverup. The family and police are now there digging, I bet. |
Wow, so I think its safe to say he might have had a personality disorder (narcissistic perhaps?).
For those wondering whether to read it or not, it's basically a guy rationalizing his decision to commit suicide at 60. Sounds like he may have been developing dementia (contrary to his no health problems claim) |

East side. Just had a new driveway addition put in and I've got some areas to fill. |

The people digging are most likely from Wyandotte county. They treat Joco trash pickup day as a holiday.

The most shocking part of the whole thing to me is how rational and sane the entire thought process is. Not saying suicide is OK I'm just saying I have never seen this spin on it. Bottom line he wanted to control his own death. Talk about OCD. |
Quote:
He didn't want to live through the typical end of life issues. |

It's actually kind of fascinating. He clearly thought this whole thing through. It's a very interesting case study for sure. |
