What a loss-still bums me out.

They will talk about the game he could have broke his own record when he had 6 sacks against the Raiders in the third quarter but they called off the dogs. Kind of well it does piss me off he could have had 8 or more sacks that day.

My favorite Chiefs game I have ever been to. DT went off on Jeff George and the Raiders knocked Grbac out of the game right before halftime. Sunday Night Football, Arrowhead was rocking. That was also the year of 16-0 talk and the signing of Chester McGlockton.

In remember watching that Jeff George. Sack game at some guys house with a lot of raider fans it was great. I was the only none talking shit haha

When I worked in Independence, Derrick's house was right down the street in a subdivision called The Cliffs, just off US 40 and just west of I-470. He had a black Mercedes convertible, and used to come screaming out of the subdivision onto US 40. I saw him many times. He was always speeding. I guess one of his character traits was that he was always running late for something. In the end, it cost him his life.

I wanted to watch this but ESPN is doing their "Book of Manning" documentary tonight at the same time as the Derrick Thomas show.

It ain't the money, it's the time. If I DVR'd everything I want to watch...my whole life would be about the DVR...

Really? I watch Chiefs games live. I watch MNF DVRed. Push play on MNF about 8:30 or 9:00 PM on Monday nights. Decide by halftime if the whole game is worth watching or if I just want to delete it. Usually watch a 3 hour game in an hour. You can watch the DT show in 40 minutes on DVR. Use the tool to give you more time.

Yup, when I was growing up I lived the next block over and shoveled the snow off his driveway more than a few times. He paid better than the other neighbors too so that made me like him all the more.

Inside the NFL interviewed Lawrence Taylor after his Football Life special and he said basically the same thing that they pulled no punches but he did agree everything they portrayed was accurate.

Correct. And NFLN's schedule says it's on at 1am Eastern...which puts it at midnight Central.

My DVR says NFL Fantasy Live at midnight. But I'll record both just in case somebody is wrong. Who knows for sure?

Amazing watching how much he poured his life into the Third and Long Foundation. He was much more of a humanitarian than I realized....really makes me sadder that he is gone.

I guess I'm glad DT never saw how bad things got at 1 Arrowhead Dr under the peckerhead's four year regime.

That Kimble Anders drop in Buffalo still pisses me off. He catches that and we most likely win.
