There has yet to been a good week of college football

This is why I can't take the arguments from some of my friends who love college football, and say it's better product than the NFL.

Sometimes you get weeks like this. Sometimes you get totally awesome weeks.

The NFL delivers quality games every single week.

Will the North Dakota State game be televised? Probably the best one of the week.

Horrible slate of games. Not worth tuning in if GTA5 is as good as advertised!

I hate watching Stanford. Sucks it's the best game.

Michigan better ****ing show up this week.

If you love offense and hate defense, check out the Missouri v Indiana game. Could be 100 points combined scored in that game.

It's just nice that Missouri's non-conference games are televised now.

I think it would be a lot better with super conferences and maybe this new bcs setup will make things interesting but the last 3 years or so my interest has been going downhill.

I agree completely ^. I love the Buckeyes, but my love for College football has dwindled, look at some of the SEC powerhouses schedules around midseason. They always seem to play an FCS team in there (boring). That isn't a knock on them, Ohio State plays Florida A&M this week which is an FCS team, first time we have played an FCS team since 2008. I get tired of these cupcakes first few weeks, it makes for a ton of extremely boring football. This is why the NFL is awesome, premo games every week.

There is a difference between bad matchups and bad games. The matchups suck, but there will be some great games.

Great games? Maybe, depends on your definition of a great game. Interesting enough to devote time to cycling channels and watching scores to see what games are close? Not to me it isn't.

I should watch that central Michigan game to see who next years first overall pick might be.

This is the worst collective slate of games during a weekend in recent memory.

SEC teams also play other SEC teams (many of which are ranked in the top 25... many also in the top 10) during the middle of the season while your beloved Ohio State team is playing the likes of Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, Iowa, etc.

Took my son to see his first college ball game tonight. Pitt State hosting the Bearcats. At 38-0 nothing at the half, we became disinterested. Even more so when they ran the 2nd half kickoff back to make it 45-0 and decided to leave. Didn't make it to the edge of the parking lot before it was 52-0. Perhaps another D2 championship this year...
