Bruce Springsteen is 63?!?
I don't know of any other 63 year old that looks as good as the Boss! Just returning today from the Jersey Shore and saw these photos of Bruce in Rio this week.
Just unbelievable-is he feasting on the souls of unborn babies? :hmmm: No wonder he can do 3-4 hour shows nonstop http://i.dlisted.com/wp-content/uplo...uhitit2013.jpg http://i.dlisted.com/wp-content/uplo...616566_019.jpg http://i.dlisted.com/wp-content/uplo...616566_025.jpg http://i.dlisted.com/wp-content/uplo...616566_014.jpg |
Human growth hormone is awesome.
Takes years off. |
And yet he still sucks.
|
I saw him at the Sprint Center last year. Tons of energy. Maybe he goes to the T-center.
Paul McCartney is 10 years older and was every bit as energetic when I saw him a couple of years ago. I doubt he works out, though. |
Same as the old Boss.

Seriously, man. What are you thinking? Have you never heard Jungleland? Cadillac Ranch? Thunder Road? Or were you just born rich and have never had any connection to America? |

Y'know, I try to be a tolerant guy. If we disagree on Kendrick Lewis, that's fine. If we disagree on Obamacare, it's a complex issue. If someone supports Al Qaeda, well, I don't understand it, but I'll deal with it. But to not like Springsteen? That surpasses all reason and trumps any social etiquette that would otherwise compel me to silence. That's just not right, and it needs to be addressed swiftly and justly. |

Who do you listen to Miley Cyrus and NKOTB? |
Bruce in 1978 just destroying it. I used to listen to the Born to Run album over and over again in college. It spoke to me, man. Still does.

Titling the thread "A bunch of shirtless pics of Springsteen" would've been helpful.

I have reviewed my statement and stand by it, and am now listening to Born To Run at a relatively high volume. |
I put him in the same category as Billy Joel..
They both suck |
Bruce never counts to five.
Never. |
I avoided ****ing tom hanks when he was filming the video for Philadelphia.

Ten million Jersey Girls disagree with you....

I think 63 may also be the number of overrated songs he has.

OK you Bruce haters, bring on your best bands. |

"I don't like Bruce's music" or... "Bruce sucks" I really don't see the difference. |
I'm not a big fan of Springsteen either, though I can appreciate why he is popular. I'm just not a fan of that kind of music. Plus he sings like he's straining out a baseball.

He doesn't go over with the Ratt/REO/Warrant crowd around here.

Youse Guys Got A Problem with Bruce and Rain Man????
Get Outta Heeeeeere..... http://i41.tinypic.com/2rdhjdt.jpg |
I also must admit that I'm kind of sweet on his wife Patty Scialfa. Long, lean redhead with the voice of an angel who can play Springsteen songs on the guitar. That's hard to beat.

Why isn't this in the male hotties thread?

(lurker sighting!) Have to come in and back up Rain Main and others on this one. There are very few bands I ever wanted to see live. Most live music isn't as good as the studio recording IMHO. If all their gonna do is sing the songs .. well .. I can listen to the recording and not fork over my hard earned cash. Bruce and the E Street Band is top on list of live performers for me. You never know what stories you're going to get that night, or what version of songs you might get. He can do the same song rock'd out, acoustic, or solo piano. I get that his voice might be a bit of an acquired taste, but not everything he does sounds like Born in the USA either.

jungleland lyrics The rangers had a homecoming in harlem late last night And the magic rat drove his sleek machine over the jersey state line Barefoot girl sitting on the hood of a dodge Drinking warm beer in the soft summer rain The rat pulls into town rolls up his pants Together they take a stab at romance and disappear down flamingo lane Well the maximum lawman run down flamingo chasing the rat and the barefoot Girl And the kids round here look just like shadows always quiet, holding hands From the churches to the jails tonight all is silence in the world As we take our stand down in jungleland The midnight gangs assembled and picked a rendezvous for the night They'll meet `neath that giant exxon sign that brings this fair city light Man there's an opera out on the turnpike There's a ballet being fought out in the alley Until the local cops, cherry tops, rips this holy night The streets alive as secret debts are paid Contacts made, they vanished unseen Kids flash guitars just like switch-blades hustling for the record machine The hungry and the hunted explode into rocknroll bands That face off against each other out in the street down in jungleland In the parking lot the visionaries dress in the latest rage Inside the backstreet girls are dancing to the records that the d.j. plays Lonely-hearted lovers struggle in dark corners Desperate as the night moves on, just a look and a whisper, and they're gone Beneath the city two hearts beat Soul engines running through a night so tender in a bedroom locked In whispers of soft refusal and then surrender in the tunnels uptown The rats own dream guns him down as shots echo down them hallways in the Night No one watches when the ambulance pulls away Or as the girl shuts out the bedroom light Outside the streets on fire in a real death waltz Between flesh and what's fantasy and the poets down here Don't write nothing at all, they just stand back and let it all be And in the quick of the night they reach for their moment And try to make an honest stand but they wind up wounded, not even dead Tonight in jungleland. |
Bruce Springsteen sucks. And here are 10 reasons why.
I was thinking about this thread and figured this would be amusing for everyone....
