It's September 25th, we're not officially eliminated yet. Time for one more gamethread while we're still "Officially" in the wild card hunt.

Got to finish watching them out. They gave us a ride this year for a change. Hope we get used to it.

Maxwell needs to get more playing time next year. I'd like to see what he can do in a full season. I think his bat is only going to get better if you give him regular ab's.

Chicago almost singlehandedly allowed Cleveland to get into the playoffs. 2-17 vs the Indians. I mean that's a complete joke. How do you only win twice against a team you play nearly 20 times?

Billy doesn't even make an effort to beat out the double play. :shake:

It's a little surprising to me that that is only 27 double plays for Billy, it sure seems like a lot more.

Seriously Denny Matthews is great to listen to on a fall night and I'm not even a baseball fan.

I surely will be going to see the Royals again down here. Will try to get some autographed baseballs as well as pictures this year.

I did move so now I'm 10 minutes from the Dodgers/White Sux facility but only a 30 minute drive to the Royals.

I'll be hitting up some fall league ball in a few weeks and plan to meet some of young prospects down here.

Officially eliminated on September 25th. And first time in 4 years they've been shut out in back to back games.

They choked away both games against the Indians. They're a mess

They are, but so is our offense. All they have to do is score a couple runs a game against us and they can probably win the series.

Regardless. It was a fantastic season and kept all of KC on the edge of their seats in Mid/Late September.

Billy was atrocious again. Just sit him the last few games and play someone else and let him rest and not continue making a fool of himself

Good season, guys. It was fun to get a taste of relevance, and I hope everyone, starting with the owner, will stop at nothing to turn that taste into several years of playoff-caliber baseball.

It's been fun to go through this with you guys.

The bright side is the winning record. It's what I wanted at minimum this year.

The down side is Santana is probably gone, Shields will probably leave in a year, and we go back to being shit.
