Kevin Vickerson out with dislocated hip.

www.rotoworld.com

Broncos DT Kevin Vickerson (hip) is out a minimum of six weeks.

Vickerson won't need surgery to repair the joint he dislocated in Sunday night's Week 12 loss at New England, but his season is still in jeopardy. It's a loss the Broncos should be able to overcome. Vickerson has graded out 61st among 70 qualifying nose/defensive tackles according to ProFootballFocus. He has 22 tackles and one sack through 11 games. Terrance Knighton, Malik Jackson, Sylvester Williams, and Mitch Unrein are going to have to pick up the slack.

Happened to a friend in high school on a kickoff return. He passed out on the field from pain...no bullshit. They carted him off and for all we knew he was dead.

If Moreno doesn't play, it won't matter that much. The drop off to Ball won't be huge or anything. The real battle there will be OL vs DL.

You guys can handle the injuries you've had better. We don't have the luxury of scoring 40 points a game, that puts a lot of pressure on opposing teams. Yeah we scored 38 Sunday but we can't play SD every week. Our injuries are more devastating.

True enough. The only injury we can't handle is starting QB.

Strongside 11-26-2013 01:44 PM

Sounds like we'll be getting DeVito back. I think he is a much bigger part of the defense than he's credited for. That said, if we're just down Houston, I feel much better than if we're without DeVito, Houston and Hali. Zombo can hold his own.

OrtonsPiercedTaint 11-26-2013 01:46 PM

Moreno is more explosive and better in the passing game then anyone else we have. He has better hands and understands more about protection. Also every other RB we have has had fumbling issues.

No, I have...and I agree with you that he has great potential. But I don't think he's on Vickerson's level yet. He's still raw and thinking on his feet out there rather than reacting. He's got great lower body strength and some good quickness. Vickerson is a big loss for that defense, man. He's basically anchored their front 7 the entire year with the injuries they've had.

That's the difference between a Chief fan and a Bronco fan.

Broncos fan take: I hope we can protect Manning losing Ryan Clady. They have a good pass rush and it will be on the road in December - a tough place regardless. We'll need to keep doing the things we did last time and try and contain Charles and get some points.

Chiefs fan take: I hope Manning, Moreno, Cromartie and anyone else is hurt. Maybe we can hurt them in the game.

I'm pretty sure they are suspecting it's stuff like this:

http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_as...OTBALLDIVE.gif

Especially since it's sometimes right as we're getting momentum. They don't really believe they're hurt.

Here's what Broncos fans said when Hali was injured:
http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthr...=113080&page=4

Now compare that to this thread wishing Manning get his leg broken.

This might be hard for you to understand, because your team has been somewhere between awful and mediocre since the moon landing, but I want to watch a good football game in addition to seeing the Broncos hopefully win.

And I don't HATE the Chiefs players just because they play on the other team. Tamba Hali is a good football player. Justin Houston is similar to Von Miller in many ways. I would give my right nut for Eric Berry to be a Bronco. They have never done anything to me or my family personally. I enjoy watching those guys play football. And this game will probably decide the division winner. I don't want to be gifted that just because of some unlikely foot twisting or Elbow injury.

I mean obviously I don't want Manning to get beat up and sacked all day, but if it's between that and you losing your players to injury, I would take the former, because at least we can try and mitigate it with good play and doing something and someone doesn't have to get hurt. Chiefs players are people and it sucks balls to not be able to help your team in a game because of an injury.

Then again you guys were dancing around thrilled to defeat third string QB's. That's probably a product of sucking so bad that you're win-starved. Whatever. Losing your best defenders would take the awesome-sauce out of the game.

TomBarndtsTwin 11-26-2013 04:51 PM

This makes no sense. Why is there cum on a dinner plate? Why specifically a dinner plate? Does that make it a better insult than just a plate? Why not something like a dumpster or public restroom floor? Is this a slam on me for not eating enough cum for dinner, or just enjoying cum so much I don't want to waste it?

You can do better.
