Who are you Cheering for? *Part Deux*
Looks like many here are just bad luck with the team they pull for in the playoffs. The Packers received a majority of the votes in the first poll...and well, sorry.
So try again... |
GO BRONCOS (reverse mojo FTL)
seriously, I GUESS Seattle |
Still Carolina.
|
I'm a lifelong Saints fan for the last 48 hours.
|
LMAO

I'm still pulling for Phyllis to make our back-ups proud.

Anyone who plays the Donks or the Cryners.
|
Once again....
Absolutely ****ing nobody. |
Denver earthquake.
|
I just want Sandy Eggo to make Peyton cry next week.
Then Carolina for the SB win I guess. |
At this point, whoever can beat Denver. And if that team is San Diego for whatever reason, then the week after whoever can beat San Diego...

In order, I would go with:
Seattle. Fine. Okay. No Super Bowl yet. Carolina. Same here. This is acceptable. I don't consider them an expansion team any more. . . . . San Diego. I'm going to break my longstanding policy of wishing destruction on AFC West teams. They don't have a Super Bowl, and I actually kind of like Phillip Rivers. . . . . . . New Orleans. Whateverdat. . . . San Francisco. They only have five or so. Not thrilled, but I don't care that much. . . . . . New England. Aw, geez. Not this again. . . . . (Add 1,000 more dots) . . . . Denver. Rot in hell. But I'm going to break a policy I never thought possible. I'd rather see Denver get it than Indianapolis. Let them have it and be done so we can move on. Indianapolis. Rot in hell x 1.1. |

But I chose NO. They are the closest to what I want this team to be. Good QB attacking D. |
1. Chargers (because that will mean the Broncos have lost)
2. Patriots 3. Colts 4. End of the world 5. Broncos |
1. Saints
2. Panthers 3. Seahawks 4. 49ers |
Anybody but Dungver.
|
Seattle, Catch the Groove!!!
|
Like I said in the other thread. I picked the Saints for the Super Bowl before the season started. So, Saints.
|
Saints and whoever is playing the Colts.
|
Carolina would be my no 2...
|
Go Broncos!

this is the most uninterested I've been in a Super Bowl ever. Thanks Chiefs
|
I want New Orleans. I'd like to see the Saints give the league the bird after Payton's stupid suspension. Bounty gate was a joke and every team did it.

1. Carolina. I don't hate them.
2. New Orleans. I don't really hate them either. 3. New England. I hate them, but not as much as everyone else. 4. Seattle. I hate them solely because of Richard Sherman and their stupid fans who shake neon green pompoms and think they're intimidating. 5. San Francisco. I hate their coach who whines like a small child after every single play. Other than that, I have no problem with them. 6. Indianapolis. Bastards. 7. San Diego. I hate them more than most people do. Chiefs fans really need to get on the hate wagon with these jabronis. 8. Denver, obviously. |

At least, if the Colts made it, we could take solace in the fact that we were knocked out by an eventual Super Bowl winner/challenger. I'd still rather the entire Indianapolis franchise be wiped from existence. |
GEUX SAINTS!

Saints. The Packers cost yesterday.
|
For the love of all things; do not let Denver win the SB. That's the most important thing here.
I will pull more for Carolina than any other team, but I'm rooting for a Denver collapse more than anything else. **** Denver. **** their fans. **** Manning's head. |

Still 49ers (they're always my NFC alternate), but I won't shed any tears if Carolina beats them either. I'd like to see the cats make a nice run here.
|
Saints but I dont think they can come out of Seattle with a win.
The main thing I want to happen over any team Im rooting for winning is for Denver to loose. That starts with rooting for San Diego, if they cant get it done then Colt/Pats, and so on till Denver and Peyton are out. |
I'm only a Chiefs fan...so as long as Denver and Indy lose i'm good...I won't dare root for anything else...last time I rooted for a team was the Patriots a long time ago and they became a monster...never again.
|
Lotta hate for the Broncos. We don't really even think about the Chiefs too much. I did join this place I guess but mostly out of pitty
|
"Cheering" is a strong word. I might be in the mood to raise a glass or kvetch less if the Saints beat the Patriots in the SB.
|
I suppose I'd pull for the Pats. I'm a huge fan of Brady and I'd love for him to get another ring while Pey Pey sits at home and cries himself to sleep on his huge pillah

Pats. I typically like seeing AFCW teams doing well but this is just ****ing bullshit.
|
Denver all the way. Manning retires on a high note. Donks suck next year. Short term pain for me, long term pain for the donks = I win.

I am rooting for the Patriots in the AFC.
If Phyllis, the Colts or Extreme Forehead make the Super Bowl it will add another layer of crappy to this playoffs. |
Panthers or 49ers (Jim Harbaugh can go **** Himself though)

I'd almost rather see New England win than Seattle. Almost..... |

Nobody I guess. I just feel numb to football.
I just don't want Denver to win. God that would be terrible. |
the two teams I absolutely do NOT want to win this year are the Colts and the Seahawks. I can live with the rest.
I love football too much to not care about the playoffs though. I'm shocked at how many are in don't care mode because the Chiefs lost. |
Patriots vs 49ers

The AFC is just a huge cluster**** of bullshit teams that I hate and I wish two teams could represent the NFC in the Super Bowl instead.
If the Broncos win, that would be the absolute worst case scenario. I don't give a shit if there's a possibility that Peyton could retire; I don't want that franchise hoisting another ****ing trophy. The Colts can die of ****ing AIDS for all I care. I'm still pissed about our game and how we willingly laid down to help pave Luck's HOF entourage. The Pats.. **** them. **** Boston. **** all those assholes. They've had too much luck over the past 14 years. The Chargers are the ones I'd rather go to the Super Bowl in the AFC because that would mean that 1) the Broncos had another first round playoff exit and 2) the other two teams didn't make it to the Bowl. The problem with the Chargers winning is that they're relatively young everywhere that it counts. They could be good for a while.. On the NFC side, I have so, so much less hate. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing any of the four teams left make it in but would rather see the Saints in it because I like Drew Brees and nothing about their franchise screams "DOUCHE!". Harbaugh is a douche. Carroll is a douche. Cam Newton is a douche to a much lesser degree than the other two. Plus the 49ers and Seahawks will be great teams for a long time. They'll have plenty of chances to win a Bowl in the near future.. ****ing a, I'm tired of talking about this shit. I still can't believe we ****ing lost. With San Diego pulling out the win, we should be on our way to Foxboro right now. We could ****ing win that game, man... **** me. |
always had a soft spot for san diego
|
I don't like any of those teams, but I guess I'll go for the saints if I have to choose.

Every knowledgeable analysis of football has concluded that Elway is one of the most overrated players ever. He wasn't a bad quarterback, we know that. He was serviceable for the most part, like a Jim Everett or today's Andy Dalton. He just wasn't much more than that. Go look at the statistics of John Elway and study up on on it a little, and then we'll talk. Here are a few articles to get you started. I would encourage you to open your mind up to the possibility that the mythology of your religion may be just that - mythology. http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com...terbacks/6538/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/7...te-of-all-time http://www.footballperspective.com/j...f-dick-butkus/ http://watercoolersportsnetwork.com/...way-overrated/ |
