CBS should fire Sharpe, Cowher, AND Marino.
Boomer can stay in the Terry Bradshaw role as the goofy and clueless one. And James Brown has no personality, but that's fine. |
Replaced him in the record books...then replaced him in the studio.
|
Get rid of Shannon Twurp hell yeah. I can root for Tony Gonzalez to take his job.

Tony should replace mush-mouth. He was twice the tight end, he'll be twice the sportscaster. |
I would laugh uproariously if they fired Mushy and hired tony g.
|
Bring back Brent, Irv, Jayne and Jimmy The Greek...and that cool intro song.

I only watch NFLN. Both the FOX and CBS pregame show blow.
|
There is zero chance you can have Shannon Sharpe on the set of a tv show and have that show beat anything in a ratings war

I've always thought Cowher was terrible on TV. Marino and Sharpe aren't much better.I'm all for Peyton sliding in there :)

I like Marino, I think Cowher is dead weight. TG would be a good get, no reason why he and Shannon can't be on the show together.

If they want their ratings to go up, they need to hire Brett Favre. lol |

please fire sharpe, cant understand anything he says, then move the show to LA, problem solved

As to the story, Sharpe is the obvious choice for replacement. Most of the time you can't understand what he's saying, which is kind of a prerequisite for the job. However, the guy nobody talks about is Cowher. He's a great coach no doubt but in front of a camera, he turns into a moron. He can't even get the right names on the right teams... |
Can't stand Thannon Tharp

who the **** watches fox pregame show it ****in sucks I cant even stand watching games on fox
|
Thannon Tharpe dislikes this thread.
|
I work on Sunday's so don't get to see the pre-game. But in watching the updates and post game shows, FOX definitely has more personality on their show. Sharpe has personality but on a negative level. Bradshaw doesn't contribute as much on FOX as he used to, but he's hilarious. He even makes Howie Long look good.
|
Yeah. I'm not watching any pregame show. However if they dump mush mouf I may not turn it off or mute it the few minutes it's on before the game and at half.
|
|
I will be watching whatever pregame does NOT have a manning on it in the future.
|
This ith good news. Thannon tharpe thucks!

Sharpe is a buffoon.
IMO, Cowher and Marino would be better doing game broadcasts. They don't bring any particular personality or entertainment value, but they could bring insight into the X's and O's during a game. |

Sharpe ruins the show-I don't watch it becasue of him. I like Marino-usually spot on with his football knowledge.
|
They NEED to replace Sharpe with someone because anyone could do a better job. The guy hasn't gotten any better over the years, in fact he has gotten worse. I can hardly understand him and he's always LATE when describing plays. The only thing that's kind of amusing is when Boomer jabs with him on just about everything. I think CBS realizes it helps with his overall suckness so they encourage it.

They should replace Shannon with his brother, who is very good.
Marino is a stiff, a tomato can. He is horrible on the set, as is Cowher. Both have blaise on-screen personalities. Gonzalez, Sterling and Rex Ryan would be a huge upgrade to the Shannon, Marino, Cowher triumvirate of blah. |
Bring on Tony .. say bye bye to horse-head .....
|
Marino seems pissed off the whole show. Keep Esiason and dump the rest.

I agree, Marino seems pissed off most of the time, like the other people drive him nuts but he can't say anything

good - maybe we can understand what he says.

Tony would make a great re-occuring zombie in all future zombie movies. You just can not stop his achingly slow ramble into the redzone.
|
they really should scrap the entire set and start over, I literally cannot watch them at all
|
The Fox crew is certainly more vivacious.
|
Who the **** ok'd Sharpe to use gloves when picking teams? Dude can't get them on in time and it's easy as hell to tell who he's picking before he puts his hands up.

Sharpe was actually pretty good on SiriusXM NFL Radio when they had him. He has solid football takes and seems to flow better when given more time to be himself.
Him on TV is another matter, though. And Marino can GTFO as well. He looks constipated every time he is on air. |
