All that I've heard is Avant has lost a lot. Edelman seems to be on the uptick. Sure it was a contract year and the first that he's done anything in really, but I think we can get a decent deal on him.

I'm just curious what NE offered that sent him to a market filled with wide receivers followed by a draft balls deep in them.

I think he would be a quality addition. Alex Smith would probably agree.
