Lol @ Raiders
@AdamSchefter: After a disagreement in OAK on OT Rodger Saffold's physical condition, he is returning to STL to sign a 5-yr contract with the Rams. Wow.o
|
@AdamSchefter: So the Rams get back an offensive lineman and the Raiders are back to square one at left tackle.
ROFL ROFL ROFL |
Their draft is going to look a lot like ours:
1st round - OL 2nd - OL 3rd - OL 4th - OL 5th - DL 6th - CB 7th - DL |
Donald Penn will be available for trade
|
Trade them Linkenbach for their first rounder.
|
What??? Wow.
|
@LeCharlesBent65: NFL physicals are so subjective.... If they like you, you can have a wood leg and pass. A "failed physical" in NFL means "nah, nevermind".
|
That was a dumb signing anyways
|

Remember Kendrell Bell. He failed a physical in Pittsburgh right before coming here. |

The Raiders are a joke! When's the last time they played in the SB? Obviously the Raiders have an owner who does nothing to win a championship. I wish the Raiders were more like the Chiefs and played it safe with the cap. That is how you win playoff games. Ha ha ha |
YES
|
Meanwhile, Darren McFadden passed his Raiders physical. Mind blown.

|
With all the cap space they have...how have the raiders not landed some of the big name free agents? They could have signed talib, revis, and Byrd. And they still would have had room to sign Ware and Jesus himself.
|

I hope Oakland holds on to that cap space.
However much they are under the cap floor by gets redistributed between all NFL teams next season. That's why the salary cap bumped an extra 2 million to the 133 number it's at instead of the 131 I predicted it would go up to awhile ago. |

Reggie Mckenzie (the current GM for you chiefs fans that are unaware) does things diffrently. Although he is required to spend $$$ and lots of it. Who knows what he's gonna do. |
@MikeSilver: According to a Raiders source Mark Davis pulled plug on Saffold deal. Could have had surgery and been ready for training camp. Mark said no
LMAO Al lives!!!! |

The fact that the raiders are idiots is great, but i don't see this as a win for you guys? |
The guy isn't even that good and signed for as much as Albert. Raiders got smart.
|
I believe they will look at Jared Allen or Peppers.
|
If Raiders could bring in Collins instead as a stop-gap solution, they would have made a smart move.
|
Saffold probably pulled a Von Miller & used dog urine. This time though so he would fail

Playoff wins in the past 20 years for all 4 AFC west teams- Broncos 15 Raiders 11 Chargers 5 Chiefs 0 What where you saying about the Raiders being a horrible organization? |

The Raiders have lost 8 or more games a season for 10 straight years. That's not embarrassing? The overall state of your franchise is embarrassing. It has been for a long time. Just stop. Your next post I'm sure will be about those 3 SBs you won forever ago. That's like an old single guy bragging about a couple girlfriends he had back in high school. |

I follow the Chiefs. I watch them play live every year! The Chiefs are turning a corner and have talent. This is a LOL at the Raiders thread but I have seen the Raiders win a playoff game. Some here could say they haven't seen the Chiefs win one but its the Raiders who are a crappy franchise. |
Here's a great quote from the Raiders board LMAO

Don't think any team with 60 million in cap space needs to be throwing cheap around.

Let's face it, the only team in this division that has it's shit together is the ****ing Donkeys. The Chargers haven't done shit, though they've won a lot of games, the Chiefs...well, you know...and the Raydurs...
****ing Donkeys. |

I'm not looking forward to them getting a new stadium. Ticket prices right now are cheap. My front row seats are cheap and they were cheap when Gannon was here winning. I seen prices of of that Denver vs KC game last year and great seats were almost the cost of my season tickets. But hey it's a dump right? |

They've drafted in the top 10 for over a decade & all they got to show for it was a sweep of the AFC West with a 8-8 record.

And yet, the Raiders D is significantly better than it was last year now with Woodley, Tuck etc…Not epic, but better… McKenzie appears to be doing this smartly with young talent mixed with old dudes with winning pedigrees…...

Every talking heads tongue is wagging about just how awful these guys have looked, no coherent direction whatsoever... it reminds me of a Peter King half an article two years ago that talked about how (para) "now here just might be a man in McKenzie who knows what the hell he's doing, I like his style".
Uh huh, fat chance... same old Raiders. |

Tarell Brown was a good signing for the faders. Possibly the best CB on the 9er's roster last season.
|
Brown was a good pickup for them. But it seems like the Raiders are just trying to bring in bigger names to fill seats now.

Of course, Mckenzie has spent a couple of years trying to undo the trainwreck that Al left. But yeah, that doesn't help your argument so forget that. I must say that some of you are very interested in what the Raiders are doing. I can't name one signing other than Vance Walker that the Chiefs have made. |
Oakland and now Denver....Where careers go to die
