2014 CP Mock Draft Recap Thread
Figured I'd post the drafts for each team in the OP and this way it'd be easier to keep the afterthoughts in one place instead of filling up the draft thread. So, if someone wants to do me a favor and start putting them together....that'd be awesome.

Thanks for running this, Pesty. As far as the Ford pick goes, it cuts twice one because Lee was there for the taking and they passed and it also signals the end of Hali's time with the CHIEFS. Hali has been my favorite player on the team since his arrival.
|
610 said Lee had concerns with his knee-so the Chiefs passed on him?
|
I think last year, I did an analysis which measured everyone's picks versus the actual draft. I may do it again this year if anyone is interested. If not, I would have a hard time getting the motivation to do it again.

Wow
Of my 10 draft picks for Atlanta, 5 of them have already been taken in the real draft and the second round isn't over yet. That's killing it |

Let's see how they do on the field before we start saying we killed in the draft.

My draft sucks, but to be fair I didn't get as much time.

I suck. :deevee: Apparently (lack of) speed kills. Skov got raped by GMs. Holy ****ing ass shit. I'm surprised by Uko as well. I thought that would have been a fantastic pick. I'm not surprised by Barrett going undrafted, though. That was one of those roll of the dice picks, where I figured some weirdo team like New England or Arizona was crazy enough to pick him in the early rounds, but I recognized that more than likely he'd drop to at least the 7th. Vikings 1.8 (1.9) Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA -1 2.40 (2.36) Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State +4 3.72 (2.54) Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington +18 3.96 (undrafted) Rashaad Reynolds, CB, Oregon State -160 4.108 (3.92) Trai Turner, OG, LSU +16 5.148 (undrafted) Kelcy Quarles, DT, South Carolina -108 6.184 (5.146) Devin Street, WR, Pittsburgh +38 7.223 (3.93) Brandon Linder, G, Miami (FL) +130 Vikings total: -63 Dang. I made decent solid picks all the way throughout this draft, and it was just one ****ing screwup (Rashaad Reynolds) that ****ed me hard. I made my Quarles pick before the report came out that he beat the shit out of that one dude, so I think I at least deserve 108 points back. |

Shane Skov was just the Queen of ****ing Spades. -171. **** me. And it's not like I really overdrafted him according to scouting reports. CBS had a 3rd round grade on him. Nawrocki had a 3-4 round grade on him. I've seen 7 or 8 of his Stanford games, too. I absolutely thought his skill was in some way DRAFTABLE.
That one just shocked the piss out of me almost as much as Christian Jones. |

It happens all the time to ILBs: Danell Ellerbe, Vontaze Burfict.
|
Too many injuries for Skov in his past. Burfict, well he was just a head case. 2nd round talent and a 2 cent brain = UDFA.

I started out on fire with Atlanta, but Brandon Coleman (red flagged for knee injury I didn't know about) going undrafted and Charles Leno dropping cost me the value I had built to that point and my Falcons draft ended up -30
My colts draft was terribad. I got Value out of Davante Adams and Tre Boston, the rest of the picks sucked and the class came in with a -158 score. |
DaKCMan is this year's winner then, by the looks of things? :D

Lets see what they do on the field before we judge

I know boss my picks were off but I didn't know bout Mccaron's bad interviews and some other picks were later than I thought. I like the talent I got . I'd like to see what they do on field. Actually boss good job on draft I like your picks.
