We haven't sacked Manning the last three games !!!!

Jeff Legwold: In recent meetings against the Broncos, the Chiefs have stuck to a steady diet of man-to-man coverages against Denver's receivers. It hasn't worked and won't work if the Chiefs fail to get pressure on Peyton Manning. In the past three games against the Broncos, the Chiefs have not sacked Manning and he's thrown nine touchdown passes. Broncos 41, Chiefs 17

Adam Teicher: The Chiefs haven't beaten Manning in four tries since he joined the Broncos. A 17-9 loss at Arrowhead Stadium in 2012 is as close as they have come. In two games last season, the Chiefs failed to frustrate him either time. The Chiefs will have to either slow Manning or outscore him. Judging from last week's game against Tennessee, they're in no shape to do either. Broncos 37, Chiefs 20

Because we are Chiefs

I can't blame them for not blitzing much. The secondary will get torched, especially if Welker is playing.

TribalElder 09-12-2014 06:57 PM

I would t mind a few ruffing penalties to start the game

Red Dawg 09-12-2014 06:57 PM

We beat him only once and that won't change.

Doesn't matter when you get the ball out fast.

They need to knock the receivers off their routes at the line, but they won't do it

A pathetic stat, if they cant fix that then its time for Bob to go.

They need to not only fix it and hit him occassionally, they need to hit him and make it COUNT... I'll take a few penalties along with the rest who advocate it, no we dont wanna become the Raiders, but SOMETHING needs to be done about this shit.

Look at it like were instituting the "Jordan Rules" or the "Hack a Shaq"... if you want to win then sometimes ya gotta get plum mad dog mean and play dirty.

Denver are the CHAMPS at playing dirty, are we to be made to feel less if we get down in the gutter with them?

I think not... win or lose I hope we cost these assholes something dear to them on Sunday.

Man Teicher sucks balls. He's getting paid by ESPN to be the Chiefs reporter and he can't even get his facts straight. The closest the Chiefs have played the Manning led Broncos was last year at Arrowhead. The Chiefs lost 35-28, but KC had the ball inside the 10 yard line at the end if the game. An interception on 4th and goal sealed the game for Denver.

Even if the NFL ends the suspension I doubt he would play this weekend because he hasn't been with team the last two weeks.

Nope, they will play about 15 yards off the receiver and suffer death by paper cuts

What I am most curious about is how the Chiefs score 20. Seeing how the Brazilian Dynamo doinked the uprights twice, I think 20 would be more likely due to him missing an extra point than making two field goals.

and smash the ever loving shit out of their receivers during their routes; penalties be danmed (but make it count). Like what the Titans (or maybe the Panthers, can't remember) did to take Marshall Faulk out of the equation. they hit that mother ****er every time he was in range, regardless of if he was 'in' the play or not.

they need to do what Flowers did last year to Welker; who wasn't getting the ball, but Flowers put him on his ass.. and well.

Man will get us raped, which is what happened last year.

Crennel, although worthless 95% of the time, knew how to beat Manning. Sit back in zone coverage with the defenders facing toward Manning so that they could see the ball coming.

We have to get a push in the middle to make it happen, though. Stunt the gaps and pray it's not a run if need be.

If we try man defense Sunday Manning will turn the Chiefs' assholes into hamburger.

CoMoChief 09-12-2014 08:42 PM

Late hit Manning all game. Break his body.

Then we'll win.

Mennonite 09-12-2014 08:47 PM

Their running game looked a bit weak against the Colts. They may try to emphasize that as a way of tuning up for the Seahawks.

You're not very bright. One, he's been with team for a little more than a year. Two, he hasn't practiced for about a month. If he plays at it would be very limited. Three, considering that next Denver plays the Seahawks.

I agree 100%

On 1st and 2nd down, beat the shit out of them and get an occasional penalty.

The prediction of thd Chiefs scoring 20 or 17 points is laughable. The Colts could barely do that against them, and they have Andrew Luck.

The Broncos have perhaps the best defense in the AFC.

Oh, the NFL will make sure Manning makes it to the Super Bowl if they have to prop up his dead body at midfield and throw flags in every play to move them up and down the field!
