Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic for Android

Ohh mother**** yeah.... One of my favorite games from the original Xbox era, now available for Android. Full game not a mobile version.

Sideloading works great. Running on FireTV.

Giggity....

007 12-26-2014 10:35 PM

not compatible on a Samsung Note 2014? WTF?

Fish 12-26-2014 11:50 PM

I would try and sideload it and test it anyway. It's not technically compatible with my FireTV, but it sideloads and plays just fine. Sometimes it doesn't say compatible on the webpage but it plays fine.

use the force bud.

I don't understand people who want to play games like this on a phone with a tiny screen.

I'm actually thinking about replaying this, but I'll do it on my 27" LCD.

well aren't you cool?

Silock 12-27-2014 09:47 AM

I've had this on my iPad for quite a long time now. I think it came out a couple of years ago. I just can't play it on a screen like that. I'm too used to my game controller or pc controls. Felt awkward.

Fish 12-27-2014 11:42 AM

I'm playing on the TV with a game controller. Can't think it would be anywhere close to as good on a touch device...

Ming the Merciless 12-27-2014 05:15 PM

ReynardMuldrake 12-28-2014 06:37 PM

Great game. I think I've beat it like six times.

Normally these incompatibilities are really minor and wouldn't prevent you from running the game. There's lots of games that claim to be incompatible with my FireTV, but they still run just fine once I force it to install. Did you try sideloading the app outside of the Play Store and install it anyway? That's the easiest way to test.

Here's instructions on how to sideload any Android app with the help of a Chrome extension. This will allow you to download and install apps that are otherwise listed as incompatible by the Play store.

http://lifehacker.com/apk-downloader...rec-1601613233

This won't guarantee that it will work properly on your device. But it will allow you to install it and test it.

You can also try using Android Market Helper to spoof Google Play into thinking you have a different device.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...play.api&hl=en

Install that, run it, and choose a different device type. That will make the Play Store think you have a different, more compatible device.

NOTE: If you sideload it and can play the game, you can always go back to the Google Play store and purchase the app after you've installed it in this manner. Even if the app says incompatible in Google Play, you can still purchase it anyway.

Yeah, I already downloaded it but haven't gotten around to putting it on my tablet yet.
