St. Louis Raiders?
 

With the Rams one step out the door back to Los Angeles, there has been some rumors starting to float that the Raiders might be looking into the St. Louis market. It's a viable NFL market for sure with the new stadium they are proposing. It would sure put the Raiders rivalry back above the Donks that's for sure.

Hasn't the Greater St. Louis area been through enough strife and trouble lately?

I've always thought it was absurd that the Giant-Jets, Oakland-SF, Texans-Dallas, Bucs-Dolphins and Bears-Colts only meet once every few years.

L.A is obviously a massive market, and the NFL missed the boat in prior attempts and doesn't want any **** ups again. They can't afford to have another failed franchise in the west coast's largest market.

The NFL wants to put a team in place with stable ownership that they can manipulate and work with. Mark Davis doesn't fit that description.

KC can financially support 2 teams. STL might be pushing it at 3, but it can support a football team.

Interestingly enough, in my unprofessional opinion, there are more Bears fans than any other team aside from the Rams.

It's amazing how Denver can support a football team. I mean, they have 7 Fortune 500 companies. That's less than St. Louis' 9. No way in hell Denver can support a football team, right?

That would be I assume imports from Central Illinois who moved there. St. Louis was pretty Chief heavy between the Cards and Rams time. Chiefs even played a preseason game there (which if the Rams moved, they would be smart to again)

That probably has a large part to do with it as well as the majority of St. Louis citizens having a negative opinion of KC and all of Missouri west of Jeff City/Columbia.

Rams and Raiders to LA

Seems like a solid plan really. I like the location. Get rid of a bunch of trashy buildings and clean that area up. Laclede's Landing is a cool area, I've a had ton of fun down there.
