Need to Duffy to get through at least 7 in this one. Keep that control together dude.

Punish the ChiSox.
|
Well, I know what I'm doing this weekend.
|
**** Chicago.
|
Are we running a pool on who gets ejected tonight?

I think Samardzija pitches tomorrow, though... |

We invoke the power of the great Cain-holio. May the White Trash be TP for his bunghole!

Cain should have said...are you threatening me?

i've pretty much concluded that the Royals are going to be considered 'Wrong' no matter what happens.
1. other team hits our batter first Royals shouldn't retaliate because it's just baseball 2. Royals hit their batter first Other team is free to retaliate because it's just baseball If the Royals get spiked, hit, talked shit to,shot with a handgun ... just take it because that's baseball. even some of our own fans will rationalize it so that the Royals are in a no-win situation I'm not sure the Royals can survive an entire season with this kind of abuse. By the end of the year they are going to be so beat up that they won't have much left. |

They hit our guy in the face I would tend to be pissed too. We've been hit like 16 times(?) in 16 games. Just take a second and think about that. We have a better "hit batter average" than many players have batting average. |
I wonder if they'll just issue warnings to both teams before the game and be done with it.
|
Quote:
nobody gets hit on either side sounds good but that won't happen It will be ... Chicago will hit a Royal AND THEN the warning so again the Royals get hit with no retaliation without ejection or The Royals will hit someone and get ejected immediately, no warning at all |

I haven't been able to watch much so far this year, because the games haven't been on in Iowania.....but the truth is, I kind of like the team pissed off and feeling like everyone is out to get them. I can't think of a better way to keep them focused and not getting too big of heads based on last years success.

That's the drawback to a pregame warning, it can scare pitchers from going inside because if they hit somebody they're probably getting tossed no matter what. |
They liked us as a doormat.
They liked us as a cinderella. They hate as defending league champs. |

Even then it was just 2 teams, this is several. |

im starting to like harold reynalds even more...
the guy seems to come up with his own rational thoughts instead of repeating what the uninformed national media critics are spewing out their ass. |
I'd like Harold Reynolds a lot more if he gave Frank White the Gold Glove he stole from him.
|
Quote:
All very good things. He just looks like a totally different guy out there compared to last year. I think last October woke him up to what it's all about. |
Quote:
again ... doesn't really matter what we do because the media caters to the markets where they are based, west/east coast. |

I could listen to Harold Reynolds talk all day about baseball. He's probably the best analyst out there because he has his own opinions and doesn't jump to conclusions
|
The White Sux are just pissed off they can't beat us. Losing all the time brings out the worst in people.
But with all the celebrations our boys do, it adds fuel to their ( other teams ) fire. So all of this goes with the territory, it's just baseball. I like it, I hope we keep winning and watch the sore losers act like babies in the process. With this said, we don't need to instigate anything. Ace needs to grow up, act like it doesn't bother him and just win! It's a win / win! |
Quote:
JK, I agree. |
We need to bean their first three hitters today and Ace should charge the mound from the dugout. To show we're not pussies.

over/under on suspension for Ventura ... 10 games.

EDIT 1977 to be exact. |
Volquez will get more than Ventura. I would guess Ventura gets 5 and Volquez gets 9 or 10. Sale may get 5 too and Samartjiza at 9 or 10 as well.

What are they going to suspend him for? Tell a guy "**** you." ? 10 games for that? He didn't do shit in that game, and is protected by a union. |
Quote:
Herrera got 5 for hitting a guy in the arm/ribs not the face not the head not the junk not the knee ... the arm/ribs |

Quote:
I don't see how Ventura gets suspended. I don't think there's ever been a suspension for using foul language. If any Royal other than Volquez misses a game than it's complete crap. |
If they start suspending guys for jawing at each other then as someone said last night..half the league will be suspended by the middle of next week

Looking forward to reading stories about a baseball game later tonight.

Over/Under 0.5 on number of games Ventura is suspended?
I'll take the under |

Volquez and Cain are the ones facing suspension.

So Chris Sale did indeed go to the Royals clubhouse after he got ejected looking for a fight. But yet he doesn't get called anything. If Ventura did that he would be called a thug. Not saying this is racism but it is what it is.

Chris Sale did, indeed, stop by the Royals clubhouse looking for a fight after his ejection. Sale did not deny it to Chicago reporters. |

Eric Kratz can say these things because he's a scary ****ing mountain of a man.
I dare a Sox player to fight this guy. Double dare. I have a high school friend on the White Sox, too. He wouldn't dare **** with a guy like Kratz and he's a burly, backwoods ****er. |
