I had the opportunity to see Metallica live a few years ago. Fantastic show, and we were up front. Hetfield can still sing with the best of him. I don't want to post the entire photo album, but here's the best picture I got. Not the best lighting, but a kick-ass show regardless.

I would have been jealous about 25 years ago. :Poke:

Great shot Bufkin!

That's a one in a million Hetfield photo right there!

I was at a Metallica show a few years back and took a picture of James too. Mine wasn't nearly as good though:

You weren't at a Metallica show dummy, that's Garth Brooks. Garth must have discovered cocaine - he's really slimmed down.

I watched Weezer from the stage at Sandstone about 10 years ago. It was awesome and they were really cool guys. That song "Beverly Hills" was popular at the time and I hated that song. They played it during the concert and just watching the people and how much fun they were having singing along and dancing around made me appreciate it a lot more.

Yeah, she lives the life. From Vegas, no less.

Why Not? 05-11-2015 03:34 PM

Cool. I'll be there(Vegas)this weekend, but most of the bands suck. Or at least the last time I checked.

Easy 6 05-11-2015 03:46 PM

Love that shot of James third from left, very cool.

My son says they have a new album coming out.

kcxiv 05-11-2015 04:15 PM

Carlota i seen the video of you interviewing Chino about the new Deftones album. I had to watch it (im a huge Deftones fan)

Rain Man 05-11-2015 04:33 PM

I believe that you're supposed to remove your underwear before you throw it up on stage, but your strategy seems to have worked even better.

Jiu Jitsu Jon 05-11-2015 08:06 PM

Which songs did they play in their set?

Carlota69 05-11-2015 08:54 PM

Lol, this thread is pretty funny. This place is good for a laugh for sure.

They played an incredible set. One of the best I've seen. They opened with Fuel, right into Master of Puppets. They played the standards of course, but they all
Also dug deep like Disposable Heroes. Loved it.
You can see the whole show on Youtube. Metallica rock in rio 2015. You'll see the people behind the band, and I. Was one of them.

Cool shit for sure.

ShortRoundChief 05-11-2015 09:22 PM

Yeah that's got to be cool, not a big fan of Lars but heh. Kudos.

lewdog 05-11-2015 09:25 PM

Never heard of these guys, are they new?

Demonpenz 05-11-2015 09:25 PM

Give me fuel give me fire is the worst

Otter 05-11-2015 09:27 PM

Metallica kind of lost my intrest after 'And Justice for All' but that had to be a cool ass experience. Congrats Carlota!

Imon Yourside 05-11-2015 10:33 PM

Loved Master of Puppets at 16 years of age but honestly it's all been downhill from there. That being Said Hetfield definitely has one of the coolest voices out there still.

I downloaded Through the Never.
It's an hr long and is 10 ****ing gigs.
Needless to say it's the best looking thing I've seen or heard outside of 4K.

POND_OF_RED 05-12-2015 12:54 PM

It probably pisses Lars off to think that Shawn Fanning had way more of an impact on the music business than he ever did. Long live free music!!!

BullJunkandIron 05-14-2015 12:36 PM

Did they do any covers of Barry Manilow?

Johnny Vegas 05-14-2015 12:57 PM

Lars is a nice guy.
