Tell me about the 2016 QB class...

...they suck.

Now that we got that out of the way; drafturbators...break down the qb prospects next year.

OldSchool 05-12-2015 09:20 PM

None really worth a 1st.

Shocking an Alex Smith lover doesn't think there is any 1st round QBs.

Watch the Big Ten this upcoming season, that's where the QBs are.

Connor Cook has been my boy since his Rose Bowl win as a sophmore

I'll tell you about the 2016 QB class, none of them will be playing in KC.

Damn right!

In roughly 3-4 short years the 49ers will be looking to trade Kaepernick for a couple of 1st round draft picks to some sucker team. There's a long tradition of the Chiefs getting sloppy seconds you can't just break.

Where'd you find video of Hootie?

Nor should they.

We have Aaron Murray in Aaron Rogers level training right now.

Why waste picks on QB's when our roster at the position is set for the next 14 years?

Will do.

MAOR QB's!

Who in this entire cluster**** of collegiate sports is the most promising prototype pocket-passer?

My horse, he shall be.

So in other words, we need to hedge the bet and quit pissing around in the garbage rounds.

Glad we understand each other.

kccrow 05-17-2015 03:48 PM

If you want a real thought from me... here goes.

I'd consider this class much stronger than the one we saw in 2015, especially if a couple Juniors declare.

The first round guys would appear to be:

Connor Cook - Michigan State (Sr.)
Christian Hackenberg - Penn State (Jr.)
Jared Goff - California (Jr.)
Trevone Boykin - Texas Christian (Sr.)

Boykin reminds me of a shorter Kaepernick, the rest are more pocket types. Boykin's height is going to be questioned.

Some guys I see as potential day 2 types that could move up with improved seasons and also if Hackenberg and/or Goff don't declare:

Kevin Hogan - Stanford (Sr.)
Cody Kessler - Southern Cal (Sr.)
Jacoby Brissett - NC State (Sr.) - Needs to improve arm strength
Cardale Jones - Ohio State (Sr.) - Has to win the starting job yet.

ChiefsCountry 05-17-2015 06:00 PM

Christian Hackenberg would be so much irony for the Chiefs to break our QB drafted streak.

THREE pocket passers?!?!?

What an outstanding crop. Let us harvest.

I've watched almost every game Hackenberg played at PSU. He's your textbook pocket passer (6' 4" with a cannon) and very good at with a huge ceiling. Defiantly not a scrambler. As a matter of fact I think his scrambling yards may be negative. And yes, the irony would be thick but I'd love if the Chiefs drafted him.

So, is Hackenburg our cross upon which we bleed and die this year?

It's never too early to start!

you guys can have Hackenberg. I'd rather take an accurate guy who makes good decisions like Kessler.

You think Boykin goes in the first? I don't. I wouldn't hate it if the Chiefs picked him up. But not in the first. If for no other reason than if it's in the first, he'll be expected to start.

Boykin has a ****ing great arm and showed last year that he can stay in the pocket and show patience. He has a LONG way to go and a huge bust potential, but I think he can be really really good. However, if he goes in the first, it won't be to us.
