ROFL LOLZ

Wut?
|
They must like that big arm...
|
That would make him incredibly easy to trade I would think... If anyone would even be interested

I have just as good of a shot of playing a meaningful game of football for the chiefs as this asshat does....
LOL at this signing... |
Wait.... what?
|
People on this forum need to open their eyes.
Why would this regime get rid of their most talented and youngest QB? At least this franchise is paying attention... |
He's no Brody Croyle that's for sure...
|
Tyler Bray is a lucky man.
Getting paid at least 500k a year to sit on his ass and not do anything or even suit up. Then he ****s up majorly and tears his acl and still gets rewarded with 2 more years of at least 500k to sit and do nothing. |

Yeah okay. |
BRAYDAY is back bitches

The guys has proven he is nothing but message board fodder and nothing more. |
They obviously like him. He's been hurt for a bit so we really can't say what he is or isn't at this point. Whether it works out or not I like the fact they are trying to develop some guys for down the road.

Okay. |
Welp, this will be Daniels last year in KC. To be honest them putting Bray on IR didnt speak a thing about how they felt about him. I dont even think his salary is high enough to count against the salary cap... This move here does, anyone is now free to say "This speaks volumes" without hearing any smart ass remarks from me.
Time for these guys to start working on Jaye Howards contract now instead of letting him tear shit up at NT and DE for us this season. |

I'm the only left on the one Bray wagon as I have watched everyone else jump off it this offseason and I'm not letting any of you posers back on when he pans out.

If it wasn't for you constantly blowing this guy, 99.9% of this board would never know the guy exists either. He is that relevant to the future of this franchise. |

This is most confusing. It must be that arm. That arm is dangerous and they are afraid of letting it fall into the wrong hands.
|
Interesting indeed.. Yeah, that (and Murray) likely does spell the end of Daniel after this year.
Better to use this contract on a young, potentially good QB than to burn another late pick on the exact same thing. |
People really thought DanielS was going to get an extension...?

Unless they plan on trading Chase Daniel, which I doubt considering you need insurance if the OL can't block for Alex Smith and he happens to get injured, you don't want your season to immediately tank, esp as well Chase is playing right now. I can't see why or how Tyler Bray even fits into the Chiefs plans unless they think he's going to end up being better than Aaron Murray but even then? 2yr/$2M dollars for someone who's literally trapped at the bottom of the depth chart with virtually no light at the end of the tunnel? Figured they'd want to spend some cap dollars on OL, NT or WR if anything. I guess they plan on rolling over some cap dollars to next season.
|
wow
This is either really smart or really, really, really, really stupid. |
When Murray has looked improved and Daniel has looked flat good at times it does make me wonder why they would go through the trouble to hide him this long and extend him if he's as bad as cps brain trust believes.

I said the other day that he's still here is intriguing. They must really like him and he's progressing

Not saying he will or he won't, but they obviously like something he's doing. Sounds like you should stick to drinking too much too early and dealing with your #smallpenisproblems |
Yay! Alex Smith is leaving!
|
Why would they even bother unless they think there is something worth having enough to protect?
This is not CP thinking Bray has something, this is the Chiefs' front office bothering to protect a player that is 4th on the depth chart. WTF?!?!? |

"It's just a couple million of dollars....means nothing..." really...for a QB that is 4th of the depth chart, means nothing? Really....really...? http://7e.img.v4.skyrock.net/3502/70...3_xyXXeDrF.gif |

With no guaranteed money, they can cut him in 2016 or 2017 without a cap hit of any kind, which means he could go back on the practice squad if he was to clear waivers. If he's an idiot again in the 2016 offseason, they can wave goodbye with no consequences. In many ways, it's a no brainer. |

Why is this so ****ing hard for people for comprehend? |

4th on depth chart on I.R. why bother? should they even bother? |

And how many UDFA QBs do you know who have his arm talent? The Chiefs played this perfectly. Murray continues to backup after Chase is gone, while Bray gets an extension on his development time. Meanwhile, they've got a perfectly fine 3rd stringer. |
I am so proud of you guys.

means they think that Bray can develop I was beginning to think he was done. |

Daniels has proven himself as the number two. Murray is developing nicely as number three. What the resigning of Bray tells me is the Chiefs brass see special talent that is worth the time and money to continue to develop. No doubt Bray has a special arm and is the prototypical size. Can he operate and NFL offense? Can he function and move around comfortably in an NFL pocket? Can he function under pressure by and NFL pass rush? I hope we get to see for ourselves someday. |

I was thinking about this last week:
Last preseason, both Daniel and Murray looked like ass. But with the emergence of West/Hammond/Williams, they look significantly better this year. So when i think of Bray, i have to remember that he was mostly playing with 3rd teamers. How much of his **** ups were also related to his supporting cast? How would he look now, throwing to Hammond and Williams with West being a dynamic playmaker? |
What if they're in the process of trading Chase Daniel? Maybe that news is coming.

The guy could miss this season and the 2 after that and still only be 26 when the next season rolled around.
If he does nothing over the next 2 years but smoke weed and fall down stairs, this is still a smart move. The money isn't guaranteed so they can cut him whenever. The cap hit is negligible even when he gets off the NFI list. There's no downside to it at all. He's probably an idiot but hey, he'll be an idiot with 5 years in the system under his belt at the end of this deal. Maybe he won't be quite so braindead at that point. |
