Murray time.

It's time to go with Murray and see what we have. Leave Daniel in the backup spot.

Fire Me Boy! 10-11-2015 02:51 PM

It's time you learned to spell Murray.

jd1020 10-11-2015 02:52 PM

Alex is so good we can't even spell our backup QBs names.

BossChief 10-11-2015 02:52 PM

Yup.

No sense at all in going to Daniel at 1-4

petegz28 10-11-2015 02:53 PM

the sad part is it's cheaper to keep smith than cut him

TribalElder 10-11-2015 02:53 PM

Sorry, our coach doesn't have the balls to make that call

He is no Pete Carroll

This might happen at the end of the year to get a spike in attendance to help pave the Clarks palace floors with more gold from the peasants of the Chiefs kingdom

That's fine. Just make him 3rd string.

I would love to see Murray. The season is done and we are wasting our time with Smiff.

ExactLy. This Chiefs, as a collective, are some of the biggest pussies in sport. They won't go to Murray or Daniel because they think it would signal they've given up to the fans that still go to the game and buy $10 piss beer.

No way Andy or anyone in the Chiefs would ever have the stones to do what carrol did with Matt/Russell etc.

True. It was comical today to hear John Lynch point out how scared Alex Smith looked.

BullJunkandIron 10-11-2015 04:48 PM

Did anybody imagine we were this bad?

BossChief 10-11-2015 04:59 PM

If we're gonna lose, let's get a bunch of experience for the only QB that should be here next year.

John Harbaugh made Alex rich(er). He stole money from SF too but at least earned it under Harbaugh.

My question is if they even practice throwing deep routes with Smith or even ones past the ***** sticks? I envision a Chiefs practice is just Andy calling dink and dunk plays with Alex getting easy completions. Then everyone congratulates each other for a great practice.

Yep. Last thing they need is Daniel playing well and fooling the FO into giving him a new contract.

Put Murray out there and draft another qb next year regardless of how he plays.

Won't happen. I'd rather keep Smith out there and lose for draft picks. If wee finish bad enough Dorsey will have no choice but take a QB.

He did come from GB and took Rogers when they had Favre. No way he does not take a QB if we are in he top 3.

Exactly - Daniel could conceivably **** around and win a couple games...

Pretty close. I did not renew Sunday Ticket this season. I had them at 6-10 on the prediction thread. At this point in the season I had them at 2-3, beating HOU & CHI, so I'm not too off there. I figured the OL would suck and so would Smith. Was right on both accounts... However, I had NO IDEA the Defense and Special Teams would be this bad. THAT'S whats surprising to me - especially the Defense. What we are witnessing is a total team collapse in a season where many picked this team to contend.

Some of us knew better, but it does not feel all that great to be right. The thing I do feel good about is that I FINALLY learned, and was not fooled this time.

Mother****erJones 10-12-2015 07:03 AM

W/L prediction thread was pretty confident. I knew JC should have been practicing.

notorious 10-12-2015 07:20 AM

He will probably suck, but we need to find out anyway.

We can't expect him to be good in 4 games, either. It will take a lot of time.

Chiefnj2 10-12-2015 07:24 AM

The last time Charles got hurt the offense rallied and moved the ball especially well for at least 2 full quarters against the Colts in the post season.

I expect them to come out strong for the first six minutes of the next game.

They didn't rally yesterday. Good luck.

1. That playoff game had more rigs than the oil fields of Texas

And

2. That game was a long time ago, with people like Brandon Albert and Rodney Hudson on the Oline. Ancient history.

There are 11 left :)

What will happen is that chase will come in and win a few and we will resign him and the circle continues

tecumseh 10-12-2015 07:54 AM

Sure. Let's start Murray. Or let Smith start, then pull him after the first quarter. Treat the remainder of the season as though it is one long pre season.

Without a doubt.

Cheater5 10-12-2015 08:27 AM

Not attacking OP, but this is a pointless discussion. Nobody here has any influence whatsoever on who will start, or should start at QB. This will go on for several pages with numerous theories/deductions, and when game time comes- SHOCKER, the team did nothing of the sort. Anger and resentment ensue resulting in several more pages of hand wringing.

Jesus... Murray isn't starting. He's not.

Let it go.

Bob Dole 10-12-2015 08:35 AM

The season is down the crapper. It makes perfect sense to toss Murray out there and see what we have.

So we won't.

Truth. Of course there will be the ol' coach speak.

We have to turn it around! Play one game at a time!

And Andy's go to line.

"This ones on me. We have to figure it out!"

We are only 4 games behind the Broncos with 11 games to go. We are still in this.
