Hey, I've been meaning to tell you this story. Howard Stern has a bit on his show where listeners come in and try to beat Howard Stern's producer at naming the title and band of old Rock songs just by listening to the song for a few seconds. The producer, bababooey, is like an Uber rock enthusiast, and I've never heard him lose until the other day when I was listening to an old clip. Anyways, him and this contestant went thru like 20 random, obscure songs without missing any. And finally, the contestant beat bababooey on a Simply Red song. I thought of you and smiled. It was a sweet moment.

Mine should be shipping out any day now. My birthday is December 1st, so it ends up being the perfect birthday gift. Looking at the list of the whiskeys in there, it really is a quality selection.

That's one of the more amazing aspects of his show. For a bunch of pranking dorks, they're damned smart.

Hardly anyone ever 'stumps the booey'
And hardly anyone ever 'wins Fred's money.'

And I'll admit, I almost always can't do it even from the comfort of my home.

Some of his best radio ever was when Howie had the guy's girlfriend naked in the studio behind a shower curtain, and the guy would either win Fred's money, or the curtain would drop.

Though, IIRC Robin did kind of flame out in Celebrity Final Jeopardy. What was it, a clue about Capra's movies being 'corny' and she got mixed up with cornpone.

Win Fred's money is one of my favorite bits. Doesn't seem like they do it anymore, though.

I didn't see any of Robin's jeopardy appearances, but I believe she did well once, and then embarrassingly bad once.

My favorite Stump the Booey, was when Hank the Dwarf came in totally drunk and smoked Gary. So, I guess I have seen him lose outside of the Simply Red question.

Hank OBLITERATED him. He knew more songs in the first two notes than Gary did hearing the entire clip. Plus he was probably 2/3 of the way to blackout drunk.

Wasn't that his 'vokka' and mountain dew in a 7/11 cup phase?
