Royals Vs Astros

being re-aired on MLBN now

I think they are showing entire series if you want to watch it again.

Munson 11-06-2015 07:23 PM

It was a great series. Honestly, the Astros worried me more than any other team in the postseason.

They're going to be good for awhile. They earned a lot of respect from me.

The great comeback in game 4 is about to begin.

KChiefs1 11-06-2015 09:54 PM

MLBN showing every Royals win this postseason this weekend.

Saul Good 11-06-2015 09:55 PM

Correa with two bombs, a double, and a single... Dude is going to be a beast for a long, long time.

Every playoff games on YouTube now, in HD.

Hamwallet 11-06-2015 11:02 PM

That comeback in game 4 was awesome. I logged onto my xfinity account and had it playing on my 30" monitor at work. There was a dozen guys in my office including the boss all screaming and jumping around. Best day of work I have ever had. The ride home every other car on 435 was fist pumping out their windows.

EPodolak 11-07-2015 03:47 AM

The playoffs were a tall mountain, the two teams I worried about late in the year were the Astros and Jays.

Still get little rushes of joy and surprise we won the whole thing.

WilliamTheIrish 11-07-2015 08:03 AM

The infamous pete as the the Royals went to the 8th down 4. LMAO

Our starting pitching ironically wasn't too bad ...
You have to score more than 2 ****ing runs a game. This is the 3rd game out of 4 that we've only scored 2 runs.

Everyone is swinging for the fences and probably rightly so since we can't seem to score any other way.

Ned went into "I don't give a shit" mode in early September and imo, it cost us. We sat back, feeling all big and fat like we were entitled to something. Now we are going home after round 1 of the playoffs.

Nailed it. The only way we could score was via the homerun, we couldn't hit with RISP, and we staggered into the playoffs having only won 5 straight games.

suzzer99 11-07-2015 11:53 AM

To be fair, pretty much everyone had given up on that game. Most of us still watched, but no one expected that miracle to happen.

Doug Gottlieb is a douchebag

Yep made it about a minute... what a dumb ass. Bottom line-Royals were a better team in every facet of the game. That is why they are champions.

Bowser 11-07-2015 01:01 PM

I'm going to go ahead and assume that Gottlieb lost at minimum $10,000 with the Royals winning the Series.

What a whiny bitch. I'm pretty sure he posts on the Mets forum.

RealSNR 11-07-2015 01:17 PM

He's salty about whatever Kansas City did to him. Maybe he got raped there as a kid or something. Dunno.

When he comes across as impartial and logical with his "I don't believe in narratives" bullshit, he's showing how full of hate for the Royals he is. This is the flaming douchebag responsible for creating nation-shattering sports narratives EVERY ****ING MARCH with the NCAA tournament. If Joe Buck is Hitler in terms of genocide/narratives, then he's ****ing Stalin. He's no ****ing better.

Agree 100%

People can argue over game 5 forever. Yes, maybe the Mets should have won......doesnt matter. They wouldnt have won the series anyways. The Royals were clearly the superior team. For the Mets, it was a matter of when not if they lose the series.

KCUnited 11-07-2015 01:26 PM

Amazing how multiple teams and individual players keep choking against KC.

baitism 11-07-2015 01:27 PM

I couldn't even get through 15 seconds of that bullshit. Gottlieb would probably be the only media guy that I would have words with if I saw him in person.

Yep.

And I hope he did lose big money on the Royals. **** him with a tree stump.

This. I've been following the Royals through the playoffs in order to keep up with board talk. So, unlike most people watching, I had no emotional attachment to either side. The Royals looked like the better team in every series I watched. I would say the Astros were probably the one team I would have worried about had I been a fan. Surprisingly though, it seemed as though the teams got easier as the playoffs went forward. I think the Astros were tougher than the Blue Jays, and the Blue Jays were tougher than the Mets. Never did I feel as though the Royals were outmatched and we're just getting lucky, though. And at no point did I think the Mets actually had a shot at beating them.

The fans of other teams that are playing the 'lucky' card, are just coping with their loss.

Ah. The old "They didn't win. We lost" "Narrative"

Gonzo 11-07-2015 04:18 PM

Here's my ****ing "narrative" you **** stick...

Ass kicked. Royals have been there before. They had 90% of their squad in this WS as last year's.

Also, if it were any other team, ANY OTHER, I would agree with a lot of whiney, butthurt asshats that it was luck. 99% of the league would've never come back against the Astros or even the Mets like the Royals did. However, it is not luck when a team does that shit consistently, which the Royals do. Look at how many late game rallies KC had during the regular season. It's what they do. It's how they're managed and it's what they were built for.

So, **** off and go pay your bookie, ****stick.
