So if the Chiefs are the #6 seed...who would you rather face?

New England will almost assuredly be the #1 seed.

That leaves Denver and Cincy fighting for the #2 and #3 seed.

3 seed plays the 6 seed in the first round...so the Chiefs will visit Denver or Cincy.

Who you want?

New World Order 11-23-2015 10:11 PM

Denver for sure.

TLO 11-23-2015 10:12 PM

Where's the **** you option?

Chromatic 11-23-2015 10:13 PM

Denver. We've at least given them fits.

Cincy made us their field wives.

SAUTO 11-23-2015 10:13 PM

**** you

Rain Man 11-23-2015 10:13 PM

Broncos. Hopefully by that point Archie Manning will have forced the league to let Peyton play again.

TLO 11-23-2015 10:14 PM

Anyway, gotta be the Broncos. I think we're in their heads after that beatdown.

ThaVirus 11-23-2015 10:14 PM

No, you die, slut.

ToxSocks 11-23-2015 10:14 PM

Cincy. I think our defense can match up against Cincy.

I don't like our offense against Denver's D. And cincy has always struck me as a team that peaked early.

mr. tegu 11-23-2015 10:15 PM

The Bengals don't win playoff games either.

ThaVirus 11-23-2015 10:17 PM

I'm still holding out hope for the #5 seed and getting to play either @ IND, @ HOU or @ JAC.

If not that, then I think I'd rather Cincinnati. They've looked like shit the past few weeks and they've gone just as long as us without a playoff win. At least if we lost, one of us would end our streak.

That would also add another heartbreaker to our playoff loss resume. Getting beat by a team that hasn't won a playoff game in 25 years.

Discuss Thrower 11-23-2015 10:42 PM

Losing to Denver yet again in the postseason would be much more embarrassing as Chiefs' fan than losing to Cinci.. so I guess I'd rather see the Chiefs get their inevitable postseason bouncing at the hands of Marvin and the Red Rocket than Bubby Brister II: Electric Boogaloo or possibly healthy Peyton Manning.

Easily the Broncos

Worst OL on the league
Peyton is done
Brock won't do anything on our D
They have no running game

We have confidence after winning there

Eh, at least Smith has played far better in playoff games than Dalton ever has. Got that going for us.

Strongside 11-23-2015 11:04 PM

Denver. But the Chiefs will be the 5 seed.

Denver is pretty average, so I'd rather the challenge of a way better, but equally cursed Bengals matchup.

Broncos for sure.

They imploded the last game. We are going to dominate them for the foreseeable future IMO. The tide has turned in this rivalry.

Plus nothing, NOTHING would be sweeter than a PO win over Denver.

I knew this team had the talent. Still can't figure out why it took the D so long to wake up. Could be plenty of reasons, I guess.

This is the team some expected coming out of the gate.

Really awesome how, not only Berry, but the whole defense seemed to recover from Cancer at 100% and full speed ahead.

Even my sometimes homeristic predictions never accounted for Berry to be playing the way he is ever again, much less this soon.

Awe inspiring.

Hammock Parties 11-23-2015 11:31 PM

What isn't being mentioned is Pittsburgh plays at Seattle this weekend. If we beat Buffalo, we'll have a good shot at the 5 seed and be in control of our destiny... with tiebreakers over both Pittsburgh and Buffalo.

Everyone there has a much tougher schedule than we do. The 5 is as likely as 6.

4 of 6 at home
5 games against teams with losing records

Then you most likely play Denver, Indy or Houston. If they can't pull off a playoff win this year...well....it's not happening

TribalElder 11-23-2015 11:44 PM

Do not want to play Houston again

Their defense woke up

Of course the flip side is that if the Chiefs lose, they could fall behind a glut of those 5-5 teams they're tied with now. So there are good odds that the Chiefs will either be the 5 seed next weekend, or sitting back at 8 or 9 having to work their way back up.

Ming the Merciless 11-23-2015 11:51 PM

Chief Northman 11-23-2015 11:55 PM

That charlatan Pagano and his soft ass team need the beat down they deserve. Classless franchise who tanked their way to Andrew Luck, coke head owner, and an idiot GM who tried to act tough with the deflategate scandal. Karma is a bitch, and the abomination that was our last playoff performance will be avenged.

New World Order 11-24-2015 12:08 AM

God I hope we play Denver. I would like nothing more than to shut all those Donko fans up.

Strongside 11-24-2015 12:17 AM

Winning our first playoff game since the Clinton administration would be swell. Doing it against Denver would be all-time boner city.

Lord knows they've earned it.

This.

We also should petition the NFL to let us wear Crisco, get to push their TE out of bounds in end zone as he's coming down with the football to negate a TD (legal today but not back in the '90's) and call a phantom hold against Denver on a FG...

rico 11-24-2015 08:21 AM

Broncos...for sure. I am not impressed with that Brock Osweiler, at all. He has a slow, weird release and his mobility is by no means, Big Ben. Broncos will be pursuing a new QB in the semi-near future.

The Chiefs have proven that they can handle the Donk's other facets.

ILChief 11-24-2015 08:25 AM

Well historically Cincinnati is on a worse playoff drought than us. They did however wipe the field with us earlier. We are playing much better now though. I need to see more from Asswiler and see if five head comes back to judge Denver. How about try to get the 5 seed and hope Houston wins the south?

Mile High Mania 11-24-2015 08:28 AM

I think a 3rd game with out teams would be fun, both lost at home giving up 5 turnovers - weird.

So much football left at this point, no room for error with the final 2 seeds.

BigMeatballDave 11-24-2015 08:30 AM

Shit, Denver will be fortunate to get the 4 seed. :D
