So much for the appeal...

Chiefs lose tampering appeal
F**k you, Goodell.
Only the fines to the team and Reid were reduced. |
**** Everybody.
|
This is total horseshit.
Can we please stop Goodell from this magical roulette wheel where he decides punishments? There isn't any precedent for a punishment this harsh for tampering. |
**** Everybody.
|
Not surprising.
I knew they'd lose the minute that Goodell said he'd be the person hearing the Chiefs argument. |
I use to feel sorry for that prick years ago when he would get booed at the draft so horrendously, but hell with it. Pour it on, Chicago.
He needs fired before he tries to turn the NFL into a world wide league, or makes one more stupendous ruling on discipline. |
|
I expect a bunch of teams to be hit with this shit then because EVERYONE ****ing does it.

I saw one commentator say how odd it was that there were no rumors of anything going on in that regard and pointed to this as the reason. |
Wow....hell of a guy.

It's not that I don't believe we tampered with him. I'm sure we did. It's that we were the team dumb enough to get caught.
|
Time to sue the NFL.
|
Sucks, but if it meant getting Maclin I'd do it again.
|
Because...
|
Eat a dick Goodell.... And not just any dick, no. Eat a dick, directly after its been balls deep in your wife's ass, on a Taco Tuesday.
|
Damn. You guys really have to stop cheating like this. It ruins the integrity of the game.

Statement from Chiefs Chairman & CEO Clark Hunt Regarding the NFL's Ruling on Chiefs Appeal
“We appreciate the opportunity to make our appeal on this matter, and we acknowledge the minor reduction in fines imposed. However, we continue to believe that the facts of this case combined with the league’s inconsistent enforcement of its tampering policies do not warrant the most severe penalty for player-related tampering in league history. “Having exhausted our options under the appeal process, we are turning the page on this issue and look forward to continuing our preparations for the 2016 season.” |

Hey, I just want to say thank you for increasing the value of both of our third round picks by one slot. Between you and the Pats it's like Christmas all up in here. |

Meh, I'm sure I'm not the only one with 1 foot out the door on the NFL anyway.
They sure seem to want to test people's limits because they've been acting like greedy, hypocritical clowns for about a half decade. |

Of course it's preferential treatment, small market without a big name qb will do that.

My question is: What basis did Goodell use to reduce said fines a grand total of $65K? What in the world came out of the appeal that made him conjure up a reduction of $50K and $15K? Did we say "Sorry with sugar on it"???
It's pretty clear to me that the punishment for the Chiefs was WAY beyond the crime, but when left to this farce of a commissioner, well, hows about we just reduce good ol' Andy's fine by $15K especially since he's hobbling around on a bum knee, and since Clark is Lamar's little boy, I'm gonna give the team a 20% family discount too! I am The Man. Unbelievable. Hey, rules are rules, and if you break 'em, you pay. Sadly, punishments for these types of transgressions are totally subjective, and the Chiefs got their lunch handed to them by good ol' Roger. Things like this are hard to forget. Clark needs to get even. |
I'd rather cheat on the salary cap and win a Super Bowl in exchange for losing a 3rd round pick.
Being one of a dozen teams talking to a free agent when you're "not supposed to" seems like it should have a higher punishment for sure. |
Damnit. We need that damn pick.
|
Take it to Berman and cry like a bitch. Brady did it.

Something happened.
Something happened back in the day with Lamar that put KC on a blacklist with the league. What that is, we may never know. Al Davis took the fall publicly, but Hunt was involved. It has to do with the merger, but it's so ****ing hush-hush no one will ever find out until a whole plethora of people are dead and/or dying. |

I hope we ****ing cheat like nobody's business now. **** the NFL.

They know how good we are going to be so they are trying to even the playing field for the other teams.
|
Where is the precedent for docking a third? Ridiculous.
