NFL Network: "He's similar to Tyler Palko."

Franchise QB
|
Pretty much a game manager at Stanford. Has the tools you want though.
|
good pick.. Murray, Bray, and Hogan will battle it out. No real favorites.. may the best man win QB2.
|
He's a 5th rounder.
If he ends up being a backup, the Chiefs did well. |

One of these late round/UDFA QBs has to work out, right?

It was either Lynch or Hogan. Glad we took Hogan since we didn't get Lynch. He can be the QBOTF

This makes my private parts tingle

4 QBs on the roster again. One has to go. Or practice squad Hogan.

****ing noodle arm. His arm is the weakest of the draft... Go figure.

The next Steve Stenstrum. I'm excited!
|
He could be your #2QB for years. Solid back up QB who fits the classic Parcells rules for drafting QB's.

It's the smart play. |

...terrible pick. |

We'll be happy to trade him to you for Lynch. |
If this kid even gets to a Tyler Palko level of skill and can start a game in the NFL, I'd be ****ing shocked.
|
We "tried" to get Paxton Lynch. Instead, we ended up with Kevin Hogan.
Think about that. Maybe he is just here to tutor Bray? |

Bray is only like 9 months older than Hogan...
|
At least we didn't take Dak "D.U.I." Prescott
|
Bray is dead man walking now. Hope he took lil dickey's advice...

Hogan goes on PS or Murray is shopped. |

Who knows, you might get a starter and avoid bringing in the next "established vet"! |
Love that Tyler Palko 'skillset'
|
Only way this makes sense is if Bray or Murray are getting flipped this year.

No way we can keep 4 qbs on the active roster you know it all prick.
|
Not to toot my own horn again but I've been big on this pick for the last week. He will develop pretty well under Smith and Reid. Deadly accurate in the short-immediate passes which fits well in our version of the west coast offense. Terrible, terrible passer in the long passes.
Low risk, medium reward. Quote:

 The Chiefs should take a QB EVERY YEAR. That's the same policy that the Green Bay Packers and Eagles did for decades, in which they developed and flipped those guys for higher picks. Hasselbeck, Brunell, Brooks, Feely, etc. and so on. Now, you should stop acting like an asshole. |
Quote:
So you really think will keep all 4 on the roster when the season starts. |
No Bray is out.
#TeamTomahawk |
He sure as hell embarrassed my Hawkeyes defense in the rose bowl.
Even worse, he didn't have anyone to throw to but a silly looking, horse faced white kid whose dad was so shitty they made him play for the Broncos. Murray is 2, hogan is 3, bray is now serving number 43 at Dairy Queen |
bray was just picked in the 6th round of the insurance draft by state farm...

Dorsey has proven each year that he's been in KC that he's constantly trying to upgrade every position, whether it's O-line, D-line, secondary, running back, WR and even QB by bringing competition for every position and not standing pat. That's the way to build a consistent championship roster. |
The only way to flip them for picks is if they are on the roster to flip them.

Whatever. Beats the living shit out of the Pioli years when we had Cassel and Palko on the roster and didn't take any QBs.

For every 1 time it's worked out, there's a multitude of guys who haven't |

Look at the Cowboys. They played Weeden, Cassel, and Moore after Romo went down. All 3 were shit and of the 3, only Moore didn't have any experience playing in the regular season. Their season went to shit because they had shit, garbage, and flaming shit behind Romo. If Smith went down with a playoff roster around him, would you want the team's window of competing for a SB to be wasted because of their being 0 depth behind him? |
It's a flyer on a late round QB. Not really CP train wreck material
|
I think Hogan is the guy you build to be the #2 and Murray is a guy you either start eventually or move.
Bray is Bray. |

1. 3yr starter 2. Started more than 30 games 3. Won 20 or more 4. 2 to 1 Td to Int ratio 5. Over 60 percent comp all 3 yrs 6. Senior 7. Graduates Hogan nails them all unlike any of the other QBs in this 2016 draft class. |
