Who stood out in tonight's game?
I wasn't able to watch it, but I heard about Maclin. About time we have a player that won't take any shit. How did Tyreek do? Who else stood out? Thanks.

Conley

Conley was 3/3 for 66 yards

Dee Ford
|
Conley really? **** yeah. I was wanting him to show some spark. Good shit.
|
Thank God we upgraded the Oline. Our 2nd unit flat out sucks
|
Houston, Hali, Berry, Gaines and Mauga. Defense just awful without them.
|
The Good Conley
The bad the secondary is crap |
I want to see Murray to Hill !
|
Here's the Maclin "fight" for those that missed it. Gotta replace the middle W

The Good: Marcus Coope....pfffffffffffffft.....hahaha, sorry....I just can't.
|
ya know, if we were scoring TDs instead of kicking FGs, we would win more games.
This was just like a regular season loss. Had the game totally in hand. Build lead with FGs. Missed a FG Lose by less than a FG. |

The DL and Secondary stood out in a bad way. The defense has issues. |

Spencer Ware makes Charles expendable.

Standouts for me..
Spencer Ware. I love Ware's vision. He always seems to find the hole. Hard runner that's always moving in the right direction. Foles. Yes, he threw a bunch of short, high percentage passes but what I liked was the way he stood in the pocket to make throws and when he did scramble he was always looking to pass. Accuracy was sketchy at times, but overall he has to be among the best #2 QBs in the league. Reaves. He's fast and shifty. Belongs on an NFL roster. 1st team pass protection wasn't very good, but Smith had happy feet. A bit too quick to tuck it and scramble imo. Overall the first team offense looks to have really hit their stride. The defense did not impress. The front 7 was getting gashed against the run and the DBs weren't covering for shit. They need their stars back at OLB and the #2 CB spot is still a concern for me. March didn't do anything to make him look like a clear choice over wilson. |
Easily Conley. I thought he looked fantastic.

Consider how good the Rams DL is, I think the first team did a great job scoring those two touchdowns.
|
Smith went 9-12 for 137 and 7 - what else did you really need to see tonight?
Conley averaging 22 ypc - lets see about keeping that going |

Reaves

Certainly nothing to panic about. Just giving my impressions of the game. |
Foles good play action and looking down field.
We don't have to worry about backup. I think he can do well. |
I know its only two preseason games but I think the O is going to be pretty consistent this year and a bad match up for most opponents. I think this O will score more than were used to.
The D has regressed. The secondary was already suspect and with Houston out for a while they will be exposed more than we thought. The run D needs to tighten up as well. It will, but the secondary will likely be a weak link all year unless they can find a consistent pass rush. Good thing is the O will be able to dictate the pace of games more often than not. |

Alex Smith was super sharp most of the time.
The starting OL looked good Reaves looks like another starting quality running back Conley looks much improved Chris Jones got in the backfield 2-3 times Maclin was his normal ass kicking self |

Berry is good against the run..... |
Conley won the #2 job tonight
Chris Jones was again in the backfield a lot Alex had some great throws for him Best player on the offense was Mitch Morse. He saved Ehinger's ass like 4X. He looks a lot stronger |
Offense Reaves Defense Jones.
|
I said it in the game thread.
Conley is beastin it, dude is roidin FO SHO~ |

Thats a solid #2 stat line every time, Reid will get him back up to speed and we'll have an excellent insurance plan |
Coaching Beinemy (sp)? That guy gets those RBs looking like seasoned vets in no time.

Streater, DAT, and Hill all have the potential to leapfrog him. |
I think Maclin/Conley/Hill should be our top 3.
|
I just got back from the game. Lots of fun! Great to have football in LA.
The good: Conley, obviously. Alex Smith Spencer Ware The bad: D.J. White (He looked lost.) Jamell Fleming (He's terrible.) Andy Reid at the end of the first half. |
tyreek hill hasnt dont shit this preseason.

but then I want Charles to be a life long hall of fame multiple super bowl winning chief I may have my sights set to high what can we get for DAT, Dee Ford and Davis? I want #1 CB fro JC |

we need to make sure he gets some snacks at half |

I can't believe nobody mentioned Zombo. He played like dogshit.
|
I am not nearly as impressed with Foles as most are.
He holds the ball too long and is inaccurate, and when delivers those balls high and late over the middle, he's going to get the receivers killed if he isn't picked. |

2017 draft has a lot of solid edge players. Chiefs need to load up. |

Ehinger in a bad way. I don't want to have a big knee jerk reaction here, but he seemed to be having a bad night. Looked like he just needs to bulk up, but maybe Fulton should be starting until he does?
|
Watching the game now. First team observations...
There's no debate anymore about Andy Reid as a qb whisperer. He's done a tremendous job with Alex Smith. Making his reads very quickly, making multiple reads, and threw some excellent touch midrange passes. And he was nails on third down. Terrific game for Alex. Jeff fisher is still a piece of shit. Dirty team as always. Dee ford is human garbage. Got his shit pushed in pretty much the whole game. Like I said last week... Our offense will need to win a lot more games in the 20s and 30s. Think our defense is going to take a big step back this year. |

Maclin down the left hash Conley down the right hash Hill catching a slant over the middle Ohhhhhhhhhh Shit ! Just stay ****ing healthy. |

Murray, March and White started their first ever NFL games last night. They looked lost like any player in their situation would. |

Reid will tell Foles to get the ball off sooner and keep your throws down and it's fixed. 27-2 wasn't a Fluke. Reid / Foles make a good player/coach tandem. |

By the way, surprised foles got positive mentions. In just one drive he threw three or four easy passes completely off the mark. |

The problem is that these D-Lineman that are both quick and strong, like Donald and Brockers, he just doesn't have the functional strength to recover, and pushed like a rag doll. Fulton has the strength, but he doesn't have the athletic ability and speed to get out in space. So, you have to pick your poison, and Andy likes that ability to get out in space. |

I wanted Mauga to lose his job as much as anyone but I'm not currently buying what these young guys are selling. |
Quote:

I mean, Alex Smith doesn't look down the field that often, but when he does, he's making those decisions a hell of a lot quicker than Foles.
