Huh? The Raiders have been rumored to Vegas for a while. This would be one step that way.

The Raiders in Vegas make a lot of sense.

You clearly have no idea what happened in Los Angeles with the Rams.

LA has way to much other stuff going on for two teams in my opinion.

Do the dumbasses realize that the teams moved from Los Angeles because of stadium issues and one owner was a whore, the other Al Davis. It wasn't fan support. They will have a Jerry World type stadium in a location known for Los Angeles sports. No brainier decision.

BleedingRed 08-25-2016 10:41 AM

Not LA, Las Vegas makes little sense to me... I think San Antonio would be better (Selfishly want to go to Chiefs game every years that is only 2 hours away)

Your opinion is invalid.

171,000 people attended the Rams home PRESEASON games.

The Rams are sold out for 2016. Ticket demand is insane.

When the new stadium opens, the ticket prices and demand will only increase.

English, mother****er! Do you speak it?

So, let's review: You confuse Las Vegas with Los Angeles, claim that Los Angeles can't support an NFL team despite the fact that the Rams have sold out 2016 and had 171,000 people attend two preseason games and when confronted with facts, your response is to call me a cuck?

You're definitely not Houstonwhodat. He was about 10x smarter than you.

You are definitely a Cuck, I said LA couldn't support two teams. I admitted my mistake already.

And you are arguing for the two preseason games with a NFL team in LA for first time in how many years?

Lets see how it looks when Rams don't win for a while....... Jesus you a touchy ****

gblowfish 08-25-2016 11:11 AM

The Raiders have treated their fans like shit over the years. What a bunch of carpetbaggers. Then again, the City of Oakland is a giant cesspool, so they deserve an abusive relationship.

In the last 4 years before moving to St. Louis the Rams were 22nd, 25th, 25th & 28th respectively in a 28 team league. Even before that the were routinely around 15th. In order to get to a point where they were perennially a top 5 team in attendance you have to go all the way back to the mid 70's

Between 1994 & 1978 they finished top 10 in attendance 2 times (10th in '86 & 8th in '80)

Yeah it's the new shiny thing in LA, give them a few weeks of watching the Rams play & we'll see what their attendance looks like.

Let's not put on like the Lou gave them a hell of a lot of support over the last few years. Going to a game at the Jones Dome is like going to the ****ing opera. It's not terrible but it's not a hell of a lot of fun either.

Yea, but if they move to Vegas they don't need that many fans. Just fill the stadium with the other teams fans.

If the NFL gets over the gambling aspect, I think it could really work.

I hate to say it, but they are the most impressive Hard Knocks team in a while.

They have skill positions. Goff looks ready to grow. Their D-Line is beastly. I'd trade ANYONE on the Chiefs for Aaron Donald right this moment, and just about anyone on the Chiefs for Gurley.

Hate to say it, but the appeal of LA might be JUST the difference between wallowing in mediocrity and moving to the top for the organization.

I liked the Rams in the 70's and 80's, didn't dislike them when they made their incredible Super Bowl run but Jeff Fisher is just such a crappy coach with zero charisma that it makes it difficult for me to be even remotely interested in them.

Now, if Reid or Arians or Carroll or even a Mike Zimmer or Jay Gruden was the head coach, I'd have far more interest. But Fisher's just a lump.

That said, the Rams are all that anyone can talk about, even while the Dodgers are in 1st place and have a record number of injuries.

The NFL rules the roost.

I have the same thought being in Austin. Besides, the Spurs use the same colors so it would have been a solid match. But they would have had to fight with Jerry. He does not want to lose fans in state because you know, Texas isn't big enough to support 3 NFL teams!

It's no different than the SF Giants not allowing the Oakland A's to play in San Jose, as they claim it as their territory.

I can't blame Jones in that regard. The Raiders would likely have significant appeal that state, especially the merch.

If you're "excited" for the move, you're clearly not a Bay Area resident, nor have you ever lived there before.

Shocking.

I've never met a Cowboys fan from Texas or Raiders fan from California. The only differences between those fan bases is that one requires a criminal record to be a part of and the other one is optional.

When have I claimed to live in the bay area? I'm tired of the shithole there. Vegas would be a great venue and actually easier for me to fly to from Fresno.

I don't think I've ever met a Cowboys fan.

Only requirement for a chef fan is you must have built in excuses and conspiracy theories on why your team has been dog shit for many years.
