The officiating didn't cost us this game, but it did give the Texans three points and take a Chiefs touchdown off the board. So when will the NFL go to full time officials?

With this offense we didn't deserve to win been saying it since last year I'm glad the officiating didn't bail smith out this time.

the non-call PI in the endzone...

this crew sucked major asshole today and usually it went against us

and to point out 2 TDs were taken away from the Chiefs by the Refs as the PI that should have been called against Kelce was in the endzone.

On 1 possession the Refs kept us out of the endzone twice

The Texans got ****ed a few calls, too.

Yep, there were multiple bad calls and non-calls... but they didnt cost us the game

It kinda looked lithe refs weren't gonna let the Texans lose 3 times in 366 days in their own house no matter what it took. The announcers even said the Chiefs were starting 1st and 17 or 1st and 20 all day.

Hopefully Hill just had a cramp or shit his pants.

Peters gets a taunting penalty for wagging his finger 10 yards away and Hopkins gets away with taunting our FB right in his face to end the game.

Shocking!

Taunting shouldn't even be a penalty much less a personal foul.

Grown men should be able to deal with trash talk and theatrics.

I really hated the taunting penalty on Peters. I feel like I see players do that all the time. Refs were bad, but the Chiefs sucked today.

It's pretty hilarious he got that penalty against the Texans. The finger wag is Watts signature move. He does it several times every game.

There were some but the Chiefs deserved what they got today. I hate blaming officials for outcomes like this. It's way down the list. Let's be honest and objective here.

If you add 4 points to our total and take 3 off of theirs it potentially, absolutely cost us the game. Yeah, we were a shit show. We deserved to lose. That doesn't absolve the Refs(ans)

After I posted the thread, the uncalled defensive pi on Kelce in the end zone was huge.

I agree 100%. Taunting is a weak ass call as well as unsportsmanlike conduct for excessive celebration of a TD. The finger wag thing is done in likely every single game of the NFL and in no way was it excessive in any way. To me that isn't any different than a player getting a sack then gets up and does a dance. Let the players play and have a little fun out on the field.

Overall, the refs had a bad overall game. I agree they need to be full time employees and study year round to make the right calls the vast majority of the time. One or two bad calls can win or lose a game and/or keep a team out of the playoffs.

I hate it when people bitch about the officiating. Unless it is a game changing play and it is very obvious it was a complete **** up on their part and not just something they didn't see. I can get behind it then.

We lost because we were the lesser team today.

It was bad and both teams got jobbed. The most consequential call was taking the TD away but I was watching on SD (the HD transmission sucked today) and it looked like a blimp cam so who knows if dude was holding. Didn't look like it from what I saw, but honestly I don't even know if the penalty was called on the guy the TV guys circled.

But there were a ton of bad calls. And they went against both teams so not saying it gave the Texans the win because they didn't get some of the ones I thought should have gone their way.

Wouldn't have mattered either way with that pathetic onside attempt.
